So I chopped my MLI today. What do ya'll think?

Very nice man..Nice buds..what was the wet weight of your harvest? How many watts were those flowered under?

I did not weigh them wet. I used all organic soil and a 400 watt HPS, i am hoping for 2.5 ounces. Any guesses?

I'd say you're gonna be extremely happy at your efforts. 2.5 Oz's was being modest. You look like you should easily have 3 ounces, with maybe alittle over. Anyone seconds that opinion?

looks like the buds foxtailed and were harvested early to me....but i'm sure they will still be good.

I had light leak problems and I have 3 clones 1.5 weeks behind this girl. I had to chop today b/c next weekend is a rave. And I needed smoke.

yeah i could tell there was either light leaks, high temps or both. thats the reason the buds look foxtailed.

so heat will cause the foxtailing too?

high temps, light leaks, or lack of light will cause the foxtailing....anyone of them will cause it but if you have 2 or 3 of them it will get really bad....you need proper temps and light with no leaks to get short nodes and thick buds, ofcourse sativas naturally kinda grow like that but MLI is suppose to be 100% indica so you should have really tight nodes with stumpy thick buds.....either way you ended up with some decent smoke for your rave so the goal is completed for ya....but get your temps down if they were high, fix them leaks, and maybe lower the lights if you had them too far away and your next run should be alot better.....good luck and have fun at the rave....peace

I have had strains foxtail that did not stress much or were sativa, I think some plants just grow that way naturally. My Nirvana White Rhino and Serious Bubblegum both did. Blueberry is also known to foxtail.

yeah for an indica those buds should be way fatter. but none the less you will enjoy that smoke. keep up the good work!
