Manifolding question

Hey all, I have an AK-48 that I attempting to manifold (mainline). I made the second cut to create 4 tops and noticed later on that I accidentally took one of the growth tips off one side so I have lost that symmetry that is so important. My question is should I abandon the manifold and just LST her the rest of the way? I also thought that I could possibly take a tip from the other side. I could get the symmetry back and go from there. It would definately set me back time wise but I'm not in a rush as I just finished the cure of my last grow. Any advice would be welcome

Make a slant six…top the remaining 3 shoots to give 6 grow tips. Or just let it go as is and train.

Well it seems I might have accidentally FIM'd her instead. I've been keeping an eye on things and I see there is growth where I thought I mistakenly took one growth tip when I topped. I 'm going to see how well that tip develops. Maybe even try to help it catch up to the other 3

Hey Farmer, i'm guessing i did something approaching a FIM but i doubt it was done the proper way. this is only my second grow but i do know a correctly topped grow tip will not grow and there is definately new growth. its going to take some time and probably some degree of training to get it to catch the rest. i was planning on one more top to get to 8 colas and i'm hoping that will help. i'll get some pics up after work

Here are a few pics. This is my first attempt with this method. I would have liked to have had the 2 mains parallel to the soil but the plant kept pulling the stakes up and then it got to rigid to train.

Not the best photographer I know. The tip that I cut does look rather sad but I'm hoping that after growing out another node will get it past that part. Unique is what I'm all about. Very few things ever go as planned
