Mandala seeds Hashberry, Satori and Kalichakra

I was just wondering what you all think of these strains coming from Mandala seeds. Ive seen goods pics around of the hashberry, but i havent seen or heard anything about the Satori or the Kalichakra. I was planning on ordering one pack of Hashberry and one pack of either Satori or Kalichakra, i just wanted to see if anyone has any info (smoke reports, links to grow threads) on any of these strains, all would be appreciated.
I cant get over how much (most) seeds cost.. the prices are astrinomical, Mandala has by far the lowest prices of all of the popular seed companys i just want to try and make sure that im not wasting my money.... But i mean whats $40 for two packs of seeds when others are paying over $200 for one.. right?
as always thankyou all for the info.

High NorthernKronic, i have grown/am growing some Mandala stuff and I can't recommend them enough!

i have finished their Speed Queen and Satori and done a smoke report on the SQ, still waiting for a good cure on the Satori but initial tests have been great. i wrote this summary for a grower in the UK thread about the Satori:

There is a full (so far) report in the thread in my link but a slim version would basically go sometin' like this.

Good germ, 9/10 (4" pots, straight to medium). One seedling runt but soon grew out of it. The rest were healthy and strong and vegged consistantly with little variation in time, surprisingly wide fingered leaves, and short internode distance. Potted up at their first sey of palmate leaves, I was lazy and potted them up into (6" pots) an adult plant mix which burnt them but they were soon back and running and took no veg feed til week five from going into the medium as seed. At which point they were 12-14" across the population (the Speed Queen running alongside were maybe + 2"). Logistically a doodle in veg.

into flower they were bloomed up into a shitty ratio 2:7 f:m, across the population inc the SQ 10:8 f:m so probably not indicative of anything, 10 out of 18 to the good!. Two phenos on two plants. One distinctly Sativa spears one more Indica/balanced with fat buds. They both could have done with more N than they got early in flower and had some N def later in flower but performed none the less. The indica type came down at 65 ish days and the Sativa type have just come down at just over ten weeks (haven't updated my thread yet on that, lazy to upload pics! hehe). In flower they had some really complex aromas. They started off distinctly different but by the end were fairly similar in aroma (bud structure remained as stated before). Lush, the floral smell that was hanging on to the indica type virtually went and was replaced by a spicey sandle wood flavour with a deep sour fruit backing. Both will yield ok at ~2+ per plant dry i reckon.

both threw a couple (minimal) nanas but i put that down to a horrible mid flowering power outtage that took the grow down for a period and threw their lighting schedule (the SQ were basically done so didn't suffer).

i'll try and remember to update pics when i load them

i didn't look for a mother on this run, i like to get a rough idea of a strain before running a couple of packs to select a mother BUT I will be putting my hand in my pocket (and my other one flicking a joint end) and picking some up for this purpose some time down the line. This one deserves another run and to be dialled in properly, I really think she has potential. but hehe how many growers say "so many strains so little time". hehe.

hopefully that ramble helped a little. grow green UK.

ola ng2k, yeah definately happy with the Satori, had a sneaky toke on the indica leaning type and WOOOOOO, great taste, deep and complex and FANTASTIC high, clean, clear, functional but fucking flying! i suspect you're right, with a longer veg period they might get closer to mikes predicted times but i still reckon regardless of veg period, to get the more sativa leanin plants fully done they will need the full 10 weeks. the indicas will finish in the low 60s though.

check out the links in my sig for more details and the Mandala Seeds forum lower down the forum listings, Mister Postman (here) has some great Hashberry pics and there is a great Kalichakra grow thread by Speeding Mullet (here).

I hope this helps some.

I grew the sadhu outdoors and wasn't impressed, leafy as hell and mediocre buzz. High yield though, just seemed real plain to me, I did only grow 1 female out and gave away the rest of my seeds.

Hey all  just wanted to say thanks for all of the great info!!

A.N.Other wow great looking plants you got there, interesting to see how wide the leaves were for the satori. Both of your phenos look really delicious i cant wait to see a full smoke report!! I really couldnt be happier after all of the research that ive done on these mandala strains. All three of these strains look like top notch preformers for such i cheap price, im surprised that more people arnt growing them :yoinks: .

I believe that i have come to the decision to get 1 pack of all three strains since i cant make a decision between satori and kalichacra, but i mean whats another $24 for strains like that :yeahthats

Again i need to thank all of you, especially A.N.Other, your info and threads that you provided really made my decision easy. Thanks again.

Hopfully it wont be too long until my Hashberry, Satori and Kalichakra are all up in my grow diary!!!

Thanks all, and im out peace,

I've done Hasberry and Speed Queen and enjoyed both. I did find a few nanners on one Hashberry (my fault I'm sure) but I either got them all in time or they were sterile as I didn't find any seeds. I got very busy and was a little lax in my plant's TLC so I'm sure it was stress that caused it.

It doesn't get as much press, but I actually prefered the Speed Queen. Short flower time, nice chunky buds, very hardy, and quite a peppy, energetic buzz. I would consider it an alternative/addition to Cinderella 99 if you are looking for a more sativa-ish buzz in a shorter flowering time plant. SQ can't compete with Cindy in the smell/taste department but was much hardier and better yielding for me.
