Thanks to Mandala Mike for a killer strain.

Sadhu

Appearance: Tight nugs with few leaves and very frosted foxtailing calyxes. Amazing bag appeal. 9/10

Smell: Thick indica type smell.. very sweet and at the same time fruity and dank. very strong when nugs are broken. 8/10

Taste: extremely sweet, fruity. excellent. 8/10

High: One of the best highs I have ever felt.. a full body indica with no 'load' very euphoric, not sleepy but still feels like an indica. i call it herbal ecstasy. I will be keeping a clone of this girl in future grows for sure. 10/10

she was grown in soil and cured for a month.
very easy to grow too... took abuse that killed other plants.
I highly recommend this strain.

peace

Sadhu is a nice plant. Very tasty and solid. The high is nice. If sadhu were a car it would be a buick; nice, solid, but nothing fancy.

Thanks for the report! :headbange

Man, I loved that Sadhu when I had her around - absolutely right she is easy to grow and real nice producer as you have shown her to be ;) great job with that - the high is definitely "releasing" - frees excessive thoughts clears the head and relaxes, a good "mixer" herb it was for me - Sadhu Satori salad bowls for example haha enjoy those fruity nugs bro...

Looks nice and crispy. Enjoy the smoke and you're right the appeal is very good. Hope you get her dialed in next round so you can reap massive colas of fruity goodness. Glad to see Mandala Mikes genetics going to good use =)

Stay safe,
SC

3dDream.. true but i just love her unique high
Lougrow.. Thanks .. iv seen your stuff.. THATS off the hook! :rasta:
Dragor.. yeah just so happens my friend grew satori... amazing strain as well. we smoked a fatty of my sadhu and right after a fatty of his satori.. killer combo!
SoulCoughing.. for sure next time will be better. this was my first time growing indoors.. learned a lot and i think i will yield better and have better quality next run. i have this clone so i can run her anytime.. i actually only got 1 good pheno out of my pack but she is killer.
going to get either rez's double strawberry deez or wally's c99xblackberry started now.

I have some of these beans in my "collection". This report moved Sadhu to the top of the list for my next grow. Sound just like the sort of steady plant and high I want and probably worth keeping a mother. Thanks for the info.

i can vouch for satori, speed queen, and hashberry never being hermies... outdoor anyways.

Munchies?

Munchies?

What was the munchie factor with this? Would love a good high but not that helps me gain weight! Ideas with good strains, easy to grow, good high, but not much in the munchies area?

I love having the munchies, BUT, at my age I need to watch what I eat.

Can'tBe2High.. glad i could help. shes a great plant. very smooth high it erases all your worries :D munchies are there, but not as strong as some other strains. actually pretty mild.
GET MO.. Not a single plant hermied.. and they did get stressed quite a few times. the keeper pheno is rock solid. never even showed deficiencies or showed the slightest sickness when other phenos were on the brink of death from an overfeeding/ph out of balance.

edit:
heres a few pics of the keeper pheno i found out of my 3 girls. for anyone thinking about growing her... keep in mind this is not her full potential since i f***ed up a few times.

Thanks for the report, IrieEyes!

I just finished my first grow, of which 3 plants were sadhus. I made so many mistakes that i was afraid to post a smoke report of my own, but I'm happy to see that for the most part your results match mine as well.

I'd like to add that when I kept some of my buds in a jar, it smelled like sweet oranges. Very appetizing!

IE--Very nice report. Can't decide whether I'm happy that I have a pack or unhappy that I only have one pack. Anyway.

I noticed that the picture of your keeper grew nubby foxtail buds and I've always associated foxtailing with the sativa side of a cross. Did your other two display the same traits?

I offered some beans to a buddy that grew out clones of all my mom's and he wanted the sadhu over them all. He liked the fact that it was easy to grow and you get a frosty result. He confessed that he didn't take very good care of the plants and the sadhu held up. The last thing he mentioned was that he found the high to be more relaxing and interesting than more potent plants. I am all out of sadhu beans, but sadhu X o.haze x skunk no.1 should be interesting. It is always interesting to me how people can all look at the same thing and see something different. At a second look sadhu does look better to me. Thanks for reminding me.

an old pic from my first run

I have some Sadhu runnin' now. I love this strain. I tried Hashberry, Satori, Speedqueen, and Sadhu. I've never seen 1 hermi from any Mandala strain I've grown. Out of these 4 strains the Sadhu is the only mom i kept. I like the fact that it's sweet.
This mother plant will be cloned and flowered next run. It's over 5mths. old, and the leaves on this plant are huge. It's the largest of any Sadhu i've grown, so i have to flower it just to see how big i can get the buds.

these are a couple at 4wks. 12/12

I think so. I'm not a big fan of the weaker strains. The thing i like the most about this strain is that unlike the other Mandala strains, it's smoke is soft and easier on the lungs. It's also quite sweet. I think that people who like Hashey, Nepalese like, heavy smoke would be big fans of Mandala genetics. For me i find that the smoke is very hard to hold, and expands your lungs quite a bit. All the strains ive tried from Mandala pack a punch, but i'd have to say that Satori and Sadhu are the strongest IMO.
