Man named Stoner accused of growing marijuana
A 31-year-old Florida man was charged last week with running a marijuana farm in his Land O'Lakes, Fla., residence.

Normally, this wouldn't be worthy of a mention in On Deadline, but check out his name: Robert Stoner.

Hudson, Florida -- Deputies say they have shut down a marijuana grow house, seizing 94 pot plants and arresting the resident, 31-year-old Jason Robert Stoner.

Investigators say he may also be in trouble with the power company, since he tampered with the electric meter to bypass the wiring and run his grow lights.

Deputies say Stoner admitted he started cultivating marijuana in his home last January. The plants ranged from 3 to 4 feet high when seized.

Also confiscated were grow lights, fans, rolling papers and other paraphernalia, deputies said.

Stoner, a self-employed handyman, was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail and released on $3,500 bond.

well atleast its under 100 plants. looked like a proper set up - 1ks and 10-12" pots. i wonder what his soil mix was.

Another thief bites the dust.A wonderful day in the neighborhood.Could have paid the 400 a month max to grow those plants and be in half the trouble.Its not that bad down here Pops,the state still allows me 300 plants if you can believe that before I'm considered manufacturing.Thats going to change drastically to 25 though next year.Must make a move to 5 gal.

Believe it or not, I had a client whose given name was Mary Jane. She married a man named Stoner, and guess what? She now lives with the name Mary Jane Stoner! All I can think is if she ever gets pulled over the cops are gonna look at her up down and sideways!! I think I'd legally change my name!!!
