Hello all! I just joined this site as per the recommendation from the grower at Fifth Season gardening, he said this is the spot where serious growers conglomerate. I however am extremely sarcastic not serious, so hopefully I will fit in.

And they continue to grow, I topped around this time as well! They were rocking out to super high humidity and temps, and they liked it! Must be their Mediterranean genetics that like the sunny humid conditions. I gradually increased ppm’s to around 1100ppm when at late veg stage before flowering.

Getting the ladies ready for the scrog was a challenge, I had some help from some growmies and but the bullet and went full lollipop scrog mode at this stage. The stoke and hope as high!

The scrog got filled pretty quickly, though the phenotypic traits of each girl is definitely noticeable. One one plant is the most vigorous, let’s see how they bud! Only a short amount of time before the flip to flower. Mamiko genetics are strong!

I defoliated a week before flipping to flower, and opened up the canopy a bit. It was my first time so I didn’t wanna go overboard on the defoliation, so I just went with my gut and took off what I thought was best to remove, mainly the huge leaves covering up tons of bud-sites. She took around a week and a half to show signs of budding but oh did she ever start to bud. The scent was starting to become very strong, a cheesy smell with a dank Vicks vapor rub+apple smell was coming through. Each phenotype has its own scent, all super dank smelling! Stoke level: frickin high

Here we are mid to late flower, these girls flowered so beautifully, these genetics make me look like I know what I’m doing! At this point the girls are drinking around a gallon each a day, I feed them with a timer set to 20 seconds every hour which built up to a decent amount of runoff end of the day. Ppm around 900ish. Around 40 average DLI. Will start to decrease ppm’s during last two weeks of flower while they ripen. Smells are incredible, being around this luscious garden of green makes my heart warm and fuzzy.

Ripening stage, fall colors abounding, especially the fastest grower cuz she had a bit of a calcium def early in flower and yellowed a bit, I’m assuming that caused her to get those fall colors quicker than the others.

Harvest time! What a beast this grow was, I can’t believe I have these monster nugs in my bedroom, I’m kinda scared actually lol. If you smacked someone with a nug it would chip a tooth that’s how dense these nugs are, which is a blessing and a curse. Really gotta keep an eye on moisture and mold while drying with dense nugs as they can harbor mad mold.
Well I chopped them before lights, this is week 9.5 of flower. Veg period was around 7.5 weeks.

The girls are currently chilling in their grow tent at around 63f and 60%rh. I flipped the whole bamboo trellis upside down and hooked the bamboo trellis to some paracord and dried in situ. I have a 6 inch fan on the floor of the tent on low circulating the air beneath the buds but no air on the buds themselves. One more week of drying and I can post some nug shots before I jar them for curing, the final step in this ridiculously long process of growing my own dank lol.

Thanks for following along on my first grow, I hope I didn’t go against any community policies against grow diaries not currently growing, thought technically it’s not over since I’m still drying :D.
After these girls are done I’m gonna do a new grow, this one I’ll keep current on icmag forums. It’s gonna be some Big Apple cookies, Green Gelato and some Kings Juice. Peace out, stay high fam.

Here are the now 4 tomato plants, one is a clone off the black prince, extremely vigorous plant! From left: black prince, granny Cantrell, san marzano. They went from GH 6 part in coco to a soil mix I put together: black cow, worm castings, dolomite lime, rice hulls, mushroom compost. Just started giving them 4-4-4 from down to earth cuz they are fruiting and need some extra nutes I think. I left them in 5 gallon fabric pots for a bit longer than ideal, and they got a bit stressed, but ever since I transplanted in the ground they are loving it.

Mamiko Cheese cookies smoke report: cheese cookies is super fire, it has a strong cheese and mint/cookie smell that carries right on through into its rich flavor. Very enjoyable to smoke, the buds are rock hard and e coated with a nice layer or trichomes. Every time I grind up a nug the smell is amazing and I have to inhale deeply and enjoy the intense and complex aroma. The high is right up there with anything I’ve ever smoked. It’s a nice balanced sativa high that is very uplifting and anti-anxiety. After a whole day of smoking it though it does lean more on the indica side and helps you sleep nice n cozy. I recommend this strain to anyone, it’s a vigorous beautiful plant that grows dank ass weed. 10/10 will grow again. Peace out! I recently started a new run, white widow and fire afghan cookies. I will post a journal once it starts to get interesting :D 🪴 💨
