Males don't make seeds, they pollinate the females who in turn make seeds.

Pollen may be worth saving depending on what strain it is. Might make some good seed with the right female :)

Just out of interest how long does it take for males to produce useable pollen?

I understand that you can't work it out to the day but I have nowhere that I can keep a male separately and wanted to just pollenate a few buds to keep the genetics going.

Take it easy,

Every little pollen grain is usable when it comes out of the flower ... unlike the seed it helps make the pollen needs no maturation time.

I'd read up on breeding before anybody decides they want to make some seeds, theres more to it than just plants having sex (unless you don't really care and just want seeds).
