Male query

Hi all , this is my second grow , I have 3 plants which I have started
from seed and my question is , does height dictate the gender?

I have 2 Ak-48's in the green pots and one Ak-47 in the brown pot and have them under a 90 watt ufo led for veg.

Height can indicate gender. If you have a bunch of plants of the same strain planted at the same time, the males will be taller and lankier.

But the best way to tell is the preflower. A male preflower looks like a crabclaw. My White Widows showed their sex even before flip.

Yeah, all sorts of things are considered indicators, but I personally only look for the pre sex as you will have plenty time to kill them before they pop. (crabclaws,Balls, foot balls,pod) whatever. Unless your breeding, Pistils and nothing else.

Males are taller as cannabis is a wind pollinated plant... the pollen drifts down upon the squatter females.

As said before, in a stabilized strain you will find males taller than their female counterparts.

That being said, you should wait.

Often males will be taller & lankier but not always!

Those AK-48's look nice, got some Ak-47's in there 2nd week of flower myself. Waiting for sex is never fun. In the photos the stems look pink/red, is the photo exaggerating that?
