I know for a fact that 2 of the 3 plants are female, but the third I can not tell. I took some pics so maybe someone could help me out.
Here is the preflower I can not distinguish.
One more pic of preflower.
Here is all three plants, the middle plant is the one I can not tell.
Tough call. Any other nodes that are the same. I would bet male. Just like JonnybeGood said, look for the nut sacks. If you see two or more together chances are excellent that it is a male. No harm in waiting a couple of days and mag that like and look for white threads. As said above, a couple of white threads coming out of that node and you got it made.
Classic female teardrop preflower, the pistil comes after the preflower. You can learn to identify females before pistils show by observing the different structures and textures of male and female preflowers.
Still no white hairs today, I will check again this afternoon. Its only one pod so I guess that is a good thing I just wish the white hairs would show.
Still no white hairs, I only could take 2 pics because my battery went dead on my camera. One of the male/female and second pic of fan leaf turning yellow. I have been having this problem with 2 of my plants for a few weeks.
Just went down to water and noticed white hairs coming out on the very top. That makes all 3 female. I need to get some nutes now. I wish I had of never used that mg time released shit.
Went down and took a few pics plants are looking good besides the yellow fan leaves. I am not sure what to do about that. The soil ph is good because I finally checked it a couple of days ago. Here are the pics and please give me some advise on the yellow leaves.
When you throw a plant into a 12/12 photoperiod vegetative growth explodes for a few weeks and I've always found staying with a high nitrogen fert for at least 2 weeks into 12/12 to be best.Switching photoperiod shouldnt mean switching ferts,at least not with the strains I've grown.Your medium looks a tad barky woof woof and ya need to pop the bottoms of those walmart specials and water thoroughly until runoff and saturation with a good nitrogen fertilizer I would think. What exactly is that growing in?
I am growing in mg garden soil, I know newbie mistake. One of the plants are about 5 inches taller than the other 2, should I tie is down so they are all the same height? Sorry for all the questions I am just a newbie and wanting to learn.
congrats on all females man.. i was 1/4 last go around.
if u want your canopy to be even u can tie that plant down til the others catch up. it really isnt a big deal imo but u can. should only take a few days if they growin good.
id suggest watering with plain water every 3rd or so watering since your using mg ferts and soil right??
thats cuz all the chems could harsh the roots..u dont want that.
my first grow i used soil very similar to that and it worked out fine.. o and make sure to give 1/4-1/2 of full doses of that mg ferts, so you dont burn em.. start light, and guage the plants reaction before increasin dose.
