its not easy going through the stress of raising a plant and it turns out to be a male that's why its always good to plant multiple seed so you have a better chance of getting a female in the group, male plants can be identified by the small bells or balls hanging from plant as you can see in the picture above and if you don't get rid of them all your crops are gonna get seeds. If you have any questions ask
I don't keep male plants I just keep a few of the bells in the freezer and if I need them I use them only from a selective breed,I respect what you're doing though need more seed breeders in my area, keep it up...try breeding blue mystic and pineapple express you'll get a big suprise
I like to try to save some pollen for projects. When is the earliest pollen can be collected?
I have tried as soon as sacs appear but liquid forms and I think yellow liquid too.
Is that good to pollinate?
Nice pics though.
How old is the the plant you got the pollen sacs from ? It depends because the pollen is located inside the sacs and it has to be mature enough to pollinate a female plant, you could wait until it reaches the stage you see in my pic just plzz make sure he's nowhere close to the girls or he's gonna rape them and you'll end up with a seedy crop
