SO...... I have 8 plants in my grow room under good conditions with a 1000w MH and no serious problems or stress to the plants. I have found a couple of balls at the flowering parts of a couple or my plants. I know this isnt normal and have to pluck so I did. I know a couple released pollin. Maybe 2 little sacs. Most of the balls have been on the bottom half of the plant.Im 4 weeks into flower I dont want to let these plants go. They are in beautiful female form and looking to swell. I just hope nothing else happens. Like my 2 AK's get pollinated. If I keep up on the clipping of the balls do you think all my plants will turn out good? A couple seeds here and there is fine with me. I just dont want some bull shit weed. And if pollen hits just a little florew below where it dropped will seeds be produced throughout the whole plant or just that flower? Her are a couple pics. These arnt the balls.

no seriously, don't panic, i think you will have to check all your plants often maybe every day if i was you or every 2 days and cut the balls you see, you will have seeds where the pollen has hit and no where else but if enough pollen and ventlation are there you know it can be everywhere on every plants....pollen like to travel..... maybe try to isolate the plants who have balls... every plants in the flower room have it ?
try to recheck if no light comes in the 12 hours of darkness and if your timer is corectly set up..sorry for the bad english.....what is this variety ? ak47 ?

pluck the balls as they appear. If you're lucky and you get them all before they open, you still have a chance at unseeded bud. Orange or red withering pistils are a sign of pollination - so any pistils that change early are likely seeded. A few seeds won't hurt the smoke, its just less bud and more waste.

I know for a fact that one has let pollin loose. But my fans were off. (Thank GOd) I have cut away many little balls and a couple almost open sacs. I think for the time being it will probably be ok. I am just dissapointed in the strain. I got it from a friend and didn't think 6 plants would "self". I still have 2 amazing looking AK's. The one's that are selfing are Hawaiin Dank. I pulled 2 clones from the AK's so I am hoping to keep the strain going. Maybe just do 10 AK's. Drop the HD strain. Just going to be to much of a hassle. Good smooth smoke and good high but would like to upgrade to blueberry or something that "Tops" well. Short grow room. I hate to do it but I think Im just going to leave the fans off till they flower and hope the bud in the next 15-30 days. Thanks for all the help and I will keep you all updated. Any more advice is greatly appriciated.

Did you check your room for light leaks? If all females are showin nuts you may have a leak. If for some reason you end up with all hermi seeded buds, at least make some hash and oil out of it.

There really is no possible way for light to be going in the room. In the room its in has no light except the grow light and the only other room connecting to it usually always has the light off. And I always shut the door to the grow room. Out of the 8 plants 2 are AK strain and have no balls or anything wrong with them. Out of the other 6 plants I can see at least 4 that are showing balls. The other possibly are also but I cant tell because there so bushy and it's a little thing on a 4 foot plant. I have spent probably 4 hours the last 2 days searching for any little sign. I am just hoping I cought it fast enough. How soon will I know where pollin has hit and If any or my flowers did get pollinated? What are signs? Any picture? Will the smoke still be as potent and taste good? (Well better than swag) Will it be seedy like swag? And if there is alot of seeds should I keep them and use them again? And does anywhere ship seeds to the US?

were these plants that started poppin out balls, come from feminized seeds? honestly man sounds like a light leak thats alot of plants start groowing balls. i just had a nanner pop up myself and i pulled it off and i think more might be coming (have to wait till the lights come on). but if a couple let loose their pollen u might be in for some surprises. dont use the seeds again as most will have the hermie trait. companies send to us we just dont like to talk about them. contact some seed businesses and ask how they stealth ship. your seeds can always get picked up comin into the states. Meh, I find if you used fems that you will always have some balls in there, never had it totally hermie free, but it's also never been a problem. I've never had a major issue with seeds, just a few even though I have never picked off balls, only way I'd worry is if you missed a load of it and you end up with bud full of seeds, I doubt that will happen.
