I used to work with yeast colonies. I can't say I remember them smelling like anything besides carbon dioxide when I'd open the petris. Please explain in more detail what this smells like because now I'm intrigued.

Good job with the Malawi. I can't wait to run that beast.

Maybe that's the pizza pheno. :biggrin:

:biggrin::biggrin:
I call this pheno levadura, perhaps yeast is not good traduction, levadura is the fungus used for ferment

For clarification, does it smell like unseasoned pizza crust? Is there any possibilty you can have a sample tested? That would be fascinating to say the least.

Hopefully dubi pops in and gives some insight on this mystery. This pizza pheno may bump Malawi to the top of my must-run strains list:yummy:

That's a beautiful, high yielding, resinous and fast! Malawi pheno, well done! ;)

Cereal aromas are common in certain african sativa strains, also in our Malawi line.
Not sure if this is what you mean by yeast or 'levadura' in spanish.

Most refined terpene profiles found in our Malawi are the fruity green phenos: mainly mandarine and in the purple Malawi phenos: berry.
Although Malawi fruity and purple Malawi phenos are not so high yielding and powerful like the Killer phenos.

Malawi Killer phenos typically produce woody, earthy, oily and resin aromas/flavors, with cereal touches too.

Hope it helps. Enjoy her! Looks like a very nice pheno worth to keep for future grows.
