Malawi outdoor transplant and soil question

I currently have six Ace Seeds Malawi growing inside and plan on getting a mother to have her clones go outside next spring.
I'm at 41 North and wanted to start flowering clones indoors and then transplant them outdoors.
What would be the best date to put these flowering clones outdoors to keep them in flowering mode?

Also, what would be a recommended soil mixture for an outdoor Malawi sativa?

Best regards,
Azure

Malawi

One robust Malawi! We are blown away by the vigor of these plants.
40 days from putting seeds in water.

Welcome Azure,

I'm glad you are happy with their vigor so far. At your latitude you can place the clones outdoors now without worries, they will start to flower.

I always recommend the same soil mixture: 60 % high quality peat, 30 % coco fiber, 10 % worm casting and a bit of perlite and guano in polm form.

Nice to see the Marshall on the background ;)

Thanks Dubi!

I'll put some clones out for sure, but the only worry is that we can go from a hot summer to winter very fast. It has snowed on Halloween before and other times the cold weather comes later.
As far as the next outdoor season goes, what would be the date to put the flowering clones outside to keep them in flowering mode? I'm guessing after the summer solstice, but by how many days after that.
I'll be researching in the meantime and posting more Malawi pics along the way!

Hi Azure,

At your latitude you can place the flowered malawi clones from indoors to outdoors around late August.
