It says once dry there is no cheMichal leaks and 10years leak free, plastic tubs are expensive here and I need 20 for res, can I make wooden boxes and coat them in liquid rubber roofing ?

this stuff ? I’m sure I saw someone do it here before but can’t find anything on it

They use it in ponds so can’t be harmful ? Cheaper to buy a tub of that than 20trays

Why not just buy thick pond liner & do the same? I’d be worried about uneven settling of the rubber in boxes you build & thus difference in mil thicknesses once dry leading to potential leaks & or holes / gaps.

If you can buy thick mil pond liner rolls and doing the same wood boxes I’d think would be more effective, similarly priced & result in better / much more reliable end products overall - just a thought, GL

This stuff seems to do really well on sloped roofs and we took it a foot up the wall as a Dpm and it stays like tar where ya put it , I’d say no leaks as it’s used to seal and stop roof leaks ?
I did think of pond liner but the creases in the material will make good zones for shit to gather up in as it’s a tub that sits u def the plants like a sip and auto pot

I needed them wider to alow room for pump in each

figure a few coats of this would be good it’s 80quid instead of 140 for tubs

this is how it goes on
my projects I’d silicone all joints in wood as I make it screw together then paint 2coats over the wood and be done

prob end up buying the tubs though as I don’t wanna gamble but I am sure it would work
