Making edibles with iso,cooking time question

So I have been making some edibles with Iso hash butter and they have been working pretty well. My question is would my edibles be stronger if I cooked them at a lower temp for longer,say 250 for 27 mins would they come out stronger? The chart I included is the reason why I ask.
Also not sure if its important but I melt 2 grams first wash iso into a stick of butter and usually make 12 cookies. Cooking at 350 for 12 mins

Also a side question but related, after I heat the butter and hash together I put it in the fridge to solidify. Then upon cooking time I microwave and pour into dish, does microwaving damage thc as stated in some threads? Thanks to all who take time to answer!

Please stop using iso.

Plenty of information out there as to why not, bite the bullet and use ethanol or another food grade solvent. No... you can't wash it out or vacuum purge it completely.

thc vaporizes at 315f (157c), your food will not reach that temp unless your making burnt toast so as long as your thc is decarboxylated there is no reason to expect any change.

My method is extract with methanol, re-extract/purify with hexane and boil off hexane then add ethanol and boil that off. The ethanol boils higher than hexane so the hexane leaves before the ethanol then the water leaves that was in the ethanol. my product is bho clean and with a measured doubling in thc extraction. I HAVE NO GREEN AT ALL

Bho is great if you like the chance of blowing up and also like throwing away thc. just my opinion

LD/50 is not a really good measure for toxicity. Plenty of chemicals on the market that will screw you up in small amounts.... just won't kill you outright.

Iso IS dangerous, especially for medical patients that require ingesting a LOT of oil.

Over long term use... you're looking at health issues or it contributing to health issues.... even in tiny amounts. I've also witnessed ISO/edibles give a patient a near-fever condition for a few hours. I didn't make it and I couldn't detect it... but it was found out later that was the cause.

There's a lot of info about a lot of things in the prohibition world that's screwing folks up. This is just one of them.

For those interested in the main reasons why ethanol is preferred over iso.


Iso mostly manufactured by combining propene and water in a hydration reaction.
When ingested... the body breaks it down into mainly Acetone.


Ethanol (for drinking) is produced through fermentation from food. When ingested... the body breaks it down into mainly acetic acid.

Which would you prefer your body having to deal with? Food and food related chemicals or synthetics and solvents? No brainer for me.

That should tell you then... The weed show is F'n stupid. So is using iso... but it's been pimped as "The Shit" for decades now. People seem to go with what's used the most... instead of what's best or proper. Don't fall for peer pressure, use food-grade solvents.
