Making a water chiller

Well I have on paper a legit DIY water chiller. It isnt really that simply but will cost far less then a 1hp chiller.

basically I have a 15000 btu window A/C that had cracked line so it esstianlly is useless in its current form.

I will remove the compressor and condenser and replace the evap coil with a stainless steel coaxial hate exchange.

Ill braze a service port on the low pressure side and braze the stainless steel heat exchanger to the copper Freon line.

Once I have the system setup on its stand, all the lines bent, ran, and connected, ill pressure test with nitrogen to the rated operating psi of the compressor.

If it leak checks good, ill take it to a licensed hvac tech and have it filled with appropriate freon.

Are there any HVAC guys out there that would like to chime in. All in all, it should cost me more then $125 including everything I already have. Basically just the cost to have the system put under vacuum and filled back up.
