making a topical with fan/stalks

I have been making a topical rub using isopropol alchohol. I fill a mason jar with fan leaves or the stems and pour the alchohol over it. Let it sit for a few days.
I like to use it on my back, shoulders, feet and legs. It is a subtle pain relief but works. I also had a tooth ache, and just rubbed it on my face. It helped quite a bit.
Any thoughts, or comments ? Ways to improve?

Search the hashish forum for Grey Wolf's info on Holy Annointing Oil or tinctures such as Green Dragon.

The gurus will tell how to make it and how to use it.

I tried the alcohol method, and it was easier to make but I prefer using coconut oil as a base. It has many beneficial qualities of it's own, and disappears into your skin pretty quickly. I uses approximately 2 grams of material per ounce of oil, add 2 cups of water, and cook it in a 2-quart crockpot for 9-12 hours. A potato ricer works well for squeezing the liquid out of the plant matter, and then refrigerating it separates the oil from the water.

I've made a bunch of it, and people are amazed at it's effectiveness.

I make a really effective topical by soaking trim and stalks for 2 days in iso then evaporating off the alcohol. This leaves a sticky green tarry oil residue. I add a little bit of hemp seed oil to make a nice texture oily paste. The hemp seed oil has to be stored in the fridge. I found the topical lotion excellent for arthritis and psoariasis.

Howdy masomasso did you ever try this out? Add the chile? i have thought about trying a few different things to my topicals (either a iso soak or budder ) to improve their penetration through the skin. I have to say that the weed rubs can be a real help when the pain gets bad. I have also had great luck using it on a couple of bad boils and a very sore ear (another infection i think ..on outer ear and used the budder with a lil added weed oil to the mix) . i am curious about your coconut oil is it produced on your island? Or neirbours perhaps? If so how do the go about it?

Peace
