No, I'm in the big transition currently. My next strain is Ortega X ST X C99. Been two years with my current strain and I cant wait to get another flavor in the house.

Wow thats a cross i would have never thought of doing. I bet its gonna have some nice phenos. Did you say you have been working on this strain for a while? or Did this just happen? If you have any extras I would love to try some out. If you get a nice mix of both phenos maybe you will get a nice fruit punch type of flavor. Maybe call it....CaliOMystic or CaliOBlue,BlueCaliO. I love thinking up names I could go all day good job Dr.D and good luck in the future,Mike

It just happened. I needed to make some BM F2s and since I had the Cali-o ready I said, "why not"? I have no idea what to expect. Might get lucky and find a good pheno. Sure hope so.

mine are all WYD crosses w/ NL, skunk1, shaman, and bagseedxNL

You should get some decent beans outta there. I,ve heard good about cali-o and I grew the blue mystic myself, it was great. So I believe if you cross good plants you'll get good beans, simple as that.

The cali-o moms are clones of the best two I found in a pack of ten. Very sticky with a great up high. Great orange flavor and smell.

I think I used a decent BM male. Smelled of berries when cut and had a little resin on the top leaves. Very vigorous. Hard to really tell about the male though. You never really know what you got till you breed him and grow out the young'uns, IMO.

Anyone know of a better method for selecting males? I'm just learning.
