Make Mayan a Hawaiian

Hello my friends. I decided to start some Ace and Green Mountain seeds for the fall season and thought I might as well do a group thread for them all. I'm still waiting on a couple of CBG Red Snake f2s to sprout as well as two Tropical Boogies from Maha Kala as well.

But for now we at least have liftoff from a Honduras x Panama fem so we know there is one guaranteed female here. And two Mountain Gold's (Federation Hawaiian sativa x Oaxacan Gold). Also two New Caledonia 2s which I have been dying to try after scoring seeds last year. Should be a fun grow this fall...I may add another plant or two especially if I get a lot of males in this group.

So why Mayan in the title? And why Hawaiian? Well, I hope you will forgive me a little poetic license, as most of these have some Mexican or at least Central American components. And I know Oaxaca is a long way from the Yucatan, lol. Similarly, New Caledonia is a long way from Hawaii, but at least it's in the Pacific. :)

Anyhow, I'm hoping for good things from the Mountain Gold which has Hawaiian sativa as the mother and Oaxacan Gold father. Same thing with Maha's Tropical Boogie which has the same Federation Hawaiian mother, but in that case Tom Hill Haze was the male. I found one slightly trippy pheno in my spring TB grow, so I'm hoping for a repeat of that glorious specimen. Wondering how the MG will compare...

Looking forward to your grow TT. It looks like your red snake quest was a success. I read your posts in the red snake thread. I opted to wait to pop my only 3 red snake seeds. I did pop 2 Destroyer and 2 Thai (Reg). I will add a little zacateca tribute and mal x pan pollen to a branch or two.

Your grows have been impressive.

Thanks so much! Yeah, the Red Snake was a big success for sure and I made a lot of seeds. It remains one of my faves from this year. Good potency, ambrosial aromas and delicious sweet flavor with hints of roses and jasmine. Buds tended to be wispy on the best plant but so worth growing.

Nice. I was wondering about the high. RS will be a next year grow, a bit concerned with 3 beans to make more.

If the destroyer gives 1 M and 1 Female, i can do a 2 seed pollen run. I plan on making a hybrid or two. Maybe a seed exchange deeper into the project with Destroyer and Thai.

I look forward your HONPAN and caledonia grow.

You can change Mayan for Mixtec. And Hawaian for Melanesian Canaco.
Best luck.

Well my mix was a bit heavy and I lost my Blueberry Muffin and one New Caledonia to damping off...everything else looks great though. Still waiting for my second Tropical Boogie to pop. And I stuck two more Maha Kala creations in the dirt yesterday, Juicy Woo, which is Blue Dream x a special blue pheno of Tom Hill Haze....incidentally, the Kona Gold that Maha used in Tropical Boogie is apparently not the same as the Federation Hawaiian that VermontMan used in Mountain Gold.

So here is my fall lineup so far...

Fems: Honduras x Panama and Neville's Haze x Panama

Regs: two Mountain Golds, New Caledonia 2, two Maha Kala Juicy Woos, MK Tropical Boogie, and two Cannabiogen Red Snake F2s.

One of my Mountain Gold has a funny stunted top for some reason, but we will see if it grows out of it. And, the most interesting plant here is the double Red Snake. I know for sure I only planted one seed per container, so this appears to be a twin! Has anyone seen this before? I am hoping it's female...

Decided to up pot several of these this morning. They are growing rapidly right now and so I thought it was the perfect time to catch their momentum and keep it going. I used fresh Coast of Maine cannabis mix with half my recycled mix plus more rice hulls and some extra dolomite lime.

Very cool! What strain was it? Was it fem or regular?
These were some regular seeds I was testing that I made last winter. Pck mom and 4 dads were from bag seed I brought back from Jamaica. Not sure what they were.

I actually managed to separate them and my dad has one and my mother in law has the other. Both females. In fact, I started 8 regular seeds and ended up with 9 females. Couldn’t believe it.
