So it is looking like the quality will be great but the quantity will be low, maybe it is just me. The time I could really use a fat harvest I don't think it is going to happen.

I have been spending a lot of time getting my garage cleared out so I have some room to build another room. Hopefully I will be growing for two more patients soon and I am wanting to build two flower rooms for 6 plants each. If it works out the plan is to veg for 5 weeks in the current room and then flower for 10 weeks in the flower rooms so we would have a harvest every 5 weeks once it is up and running full.

I have been thinking two 600 watt vertical bulbs in each flower room flip flopped every 12 hours using a similar RDWC system to what I am using now.

Now I just have to come up with a crap load of money to make it happen.

what is your plan to keep the roots out of the return lines? adding a second line may help, but would like to know your input.i'm planning a future grow very similar to this.

Yeah roots have been a pain in my ass this grow. My plan is to stack two 5 gallon buckets, one inside the other. The drain will be in the bottom bucket and the top buck will have a bunch of holes drilled in the bottom and a piece of screen covering the bottom. If you are running vertical the height loss is less of a concern. Let me know if you try this before me, it is untested but should work fine.

I replaced my year old Can 33 today with a new Can 50 because I went for a walk and when I was getting back close to my house I could smell a special funk in the air. I thought I would be able to finish this round before changing it but no such luck.

I made a new video to share, enjoy.

Thanks red, yeah about 2 to 2 and a half weeks. I think I will have to chop it all at once though since it will be too stinky to dry it in the bathroom like I normally do and I will have to dry it in the grow room instead. Luckily they all appear to be very close in maturity to each other.

Thanks for looking in Mosca.

Yes they are bulking up, I made a previous post about yield possibly being low but I think I was just being impatient, they have added a lot of mass in the last several days. In fact last night when I was doing my pre-bedtime check I found three branches that I had to tie up because they were about to break from the weight.

I plan to flush for 2 or 3 days with pHed tap water and Clearex and then 4 or 5 days with straight pHed tap water.

They have a strong and distinctive odor but I don't know how to describe it but I know it when I smell it. In fact I had to go and get a new carbon filter yesterday because I could smell it outside. It is a heavy funk for sure and it does not smell like anything I have grown before.

I am really looking forward to smoking some, it just looks so yummy. If I had not quit smoking weed I would have chopped at least one of the branches I tied up last night for an early taste test.

Thank you for blessing the community with your C99.

awesome grow, glad you were the one who caught a whiff of the grow not someone else.

Thanks stonedar, I am glad it is taken care of now, it kind of freaked me out. Fortunately it does not really smell like your normal weed smell but I knew it instantly.

Hey Mosca what time frame would you consider to be ripening for the C99 BX-1?

The feeding schedule for GH Flora series says to cut way back on the nutes for the ripening period but they don't give a time frame.

I did a rez change 3 weeks before harvest and I cut it back then but I am wondering if I cut the nutes too soon.

I am running an EC of .6 with just over two weeks to go so it is kind of late to change now but I will be running two of these from clone next round.

Also any comment on the runty one I have that looks like it is all foxtails, have you seen this before?

I was also wondering what metric you use to judge when it is time to harvest. Do you go by percentage of amber/cloudy trics or do you base it on the number of red hairs?

Thanks a ton.

Hola Major! My preferred harvest window for the Cinderella 99 BX is 52-60 days. I have encouraged other growers, in a few other threads, to take some sample buds a few days apart starting at day 52, 55, 58, etc. Since everyone's preferences for buzz/high is a little different, this method will help you to determine what you prefer.

In regards to you second question on trichrome maturity-- I used this method to determine harvest time when I began working with Cinderella 99 (and other of course), but found it not to be the best method to use in determining my preferred ripeness of Cinderella 99 buds. For example, the Pineapple Pheno of Cinderella 99 is ready between day 52-55, but she can go longer if that is what you prefer as the terpenes change during floral maturity.

Lastly, it's hard to get a good read on the runty plant you are referring to, could you tell me more details on her and any isolated pictures of her?

fine work on pulling this one out Major!

Cheers,

Mosca

Thank you Mosca, I will post some pics of the runty one after lights on tonight.

Looking at my time line I am at 56 days of 12/12 today but I have not done any flushing yet. So I guess I will flush for two days and then start chopping. I usually plan to go 70 days.

I was looking at them with under magnification last night and they are about 90% cloudy and 10% clear, I only saw one amber trich.

OK flush is started, 35 gallons pHed water and 525 ml of Clearex. I plan to start harvesting Tuesday or Wednesday on the biggest buds and may let the lower stuff go a couple extra days.
