Main lining! Here we go!

After some reading on the "main lining" technique I decided I'm gonna give it a shot.

I am starting from clone, and already have the rooted clone, just did the first step moments ago.

Since from clone the tops were in even so I needed to even it out a bit. Pull up a chair this should be interesting

Nugbucket says clones can be a bear and even has a separate "how to" on it.

I am gonna mainline 2 Amnesia Haze and 1 Jack herer.
When he says let it grow out to 6 nodes and top to the third.
I need clarification as to which is the FIRST node.

Is it the one with the first SINGLE real leaf, or is it the next node up with the triple leaf?

I actually don't have these anymore lol had an accident with them haha.

I don't haveuch experience with them. But I would wait until the triple leaf. Like 8" tall? Not sure what your clone looks like.

I think I might try it with one of my new seeds I'm hydro bucket. Think it will have awesome results if done correctly. I have a whole 3.5x3.5 tent that I can sacrifice for it so thinking like 16 tops lol

What I do is. You have the two big fan leaves. And the growth that comes out. And then another set of leaves and more growth and then another set. Go on the third set

In this pic, directly under my index finger it the node with the first true single leaf after seed pop.
To the left of my finger is the second set that popped out that only has 3 leaves each.
Which does everyone consider to be the "first node"?

These nodes are TIGHT right?
She's not even 4" tall yet.
Gonna be great for Mainlining.
Must be the Phillips True color 315w CDM !
They are not stretching for light that's for damn sure !!!

I go from where there are side branches forming. That's a true node. I usually top to the 2nd node and trim the single bladed area so that I will have 4 colas, the side branches are the colas basically once you top or train

Never mind looked at pic again.

Where the new shoots are right at the big fan leave branches. I don't know how to explain it haha I'm tired. I'll take detailed pics tomorrow
