Magnesium Def in Flowering

I have 2 Cali O plants and both are showing Mag Def. The big one about 3ft is showing Magnesium Deficiency more. Green veins whiles leaves yellow and on the top of plant.

right now I am 2 and 1/2 weeks into Flowering.

I have foilar sprayed them twice in the last week with Dolomite Lime mixed with water. I used 1/2 teaspoon/quart of water.

I also topdressed 1 weeks before that.

The symptoms don't seem to be improving that much.

Are the yellowing parts suppose to gain back color? does it stay yellow for the rest of the way? The leaf looks healthy no spots or anything just slight yellow and green veins.

I also read not to foilar spray if you are in flowering?

I have both epsom salts and dolomite lime. I also mixed 2tbls of DL/Gal in my soil but it wasn't fully powdered so mb thats why its showing def?

if im not suppose to foilar spray then how much DL should I mix with water?

which is better epsom salts or DL when mixed in water?

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks!

Use the Epsom salt for your foliar spray. The dolomite lime will not work. The mag in the lime will not break down for the plant to use. The epsom salt will dissolve in the water and the plant will be able to absorb the mag. 1 to 2 tsp per gallon.

dolomite lime is for adding to soil, and when you do it takes months to break down and become active.

I wouldn't foliar feed flowering plants unless you want yucky residue on your buds when you smoke em....

Use the epsom like these smart cats said, or get some CalMagPlus if you find you have calcium defs as well.

Make sure your ph is good (6.3) and that this isn't a lockout or adding all the epsom in the world won't do anything but burn the crap out of your plants.

thanks guys I will water them with some Epsom salt and see how they do.

Also, will the leaves gain some color back or does it stay like that rest of the way?

Ok, I've been adding epsom salts in the last couple watering, 1 -2 teaspoon/gal of water and the plants seems to continue with the yellowing and green veins??

I added to my tea and inbetween waterings, and the plant seems to be still taking up other nutes since it slows down the bottom yellowing whenever I feed them my tea. Just the top magnesium yellowing leaves seems to be continue to get worse. The plant is about 3 1/3 feet and its real bushy, could I not be adding enough?

How come the epsom salts are not greening it back up? There is plenty of DL in the soil i think my PH should be ok.

Any ideas?
