i've snap it with a nikon d5100 + tamron 18-200 + raynox 250 lens.

Those are not macros. They are close-ups. You need to get waaaaaaaaaay closer before i'd call them macros.

At that distance, you'd be better off taking a shot of the whole bud. Get some negative space in there.

I love taking photos of my plants (and BHO) as well. Keep it up
