Hey folks, a buddy recently upgraded to double ended lights and gifted me 2 1000w lumatek ballasts. believe newer ones, with 2 black buttons. i saw them in use 2 months ago when he harvested last. they're 120/240 dimmables with super lumen option if it helps.
anyhow, plugged both into my helios 3 and neither are getting power. used 240 cord when testing them both, helios is hardwired in on 240. 2 older ballasts are running fine off the controller. tried to press the reset buttons to no avail. could be the hood/cable as ive never used this hood yet.
quick questions, even if reflector had issue, would the lights for wattages on the ballast itself light up if getting power?
anything im missing or should try in the meantime? going to plug in the current 2 ballasts to the other plugs on the helios later and see if they run fine, maybe its the light controller.
just trying to narrow it down because if it was not both ballasts failing to get juice id say theyre trashed, but i saw them in use and hes not gonna give me broken equipment.
