they're in business to make as much $$$ as possible for the corporation and officers employed there, which is in direct conflict with their alleged purpose, to lessen the impact of catastrophic health care disasters for their customers .

There is an imperfect but functional model in British Columbia Canada. Premiums are levied on a sliding scale according to income, excepting a minimum income. All receive the same treatment by the same physicians (many of whom teach worldwide). One can pay for a private hospital room. There are waiting lists for non-essential surgeries but immediate action for things like cancer, coronary, stroke, infection, etc.

This is the Public Health Service I am under.
Very improvable; but in the USA my father (who earns €1,000-month ) would have died from prostate cancer.
Here he has been previously treated with chemotherapy, operated twice, and then treated with the latest in radiotherapy. "Free", of course, including all trips in medicalized ambulances.

...Well then, we, the international working class, can free ourselves from any guilt in the murder, and begin to celebrate that "they" begin to kill "each other"...
a more sensible response than trying to shoe-horn him into narrative du jour.
although celebrating this guy, whose political self-expression strikes me as being far to the right, is (in my opinion) a mistake.
i'm deeply suspicious of those on the left who go to great lengths to valorize this man who is a product of wealth and privilege, whose political thinking has more in common with Peter Thiel than Marx or Engels.
however, what I have imagined the left to be has turned out to be very different from what the left actually is.

Maybe consider him as human, rather than poor - rich - left - right

Yeah, They win - You lose.
All health insurance should be non-profit with regulated salaries. There are lot of non profit insurances, like allot of Blue Cross. They should be able to put the others out of business, but people are dumb and greedy companies give their employees shitty insurance because it's cheap.
