Lucas/kiss method question

So my clones for the next grow, are rooting nicely. Ive got 8 of them, but eventually the 3 strongest will be picked for scrog :)

After reading about both the Lucas formula and Kiss, i'm very interested in trying this out.

So to the question. They will be grown in Biobizz Allmix, under a 600 watt bulp. And i have the GH Bloom and Micro.
I wont be feeding them anything but water the first weeks, as the Allmix is pretty rich on nutes. But after that, how much of each should i add/liter of water? And how often should i feed. Every time i water, every second time or something thierd?

Thank you in advance :)

You probably won't need to add nutes for the first 3 weeks or so depending on pot size, size of plants and intensity of light. After you start your feed schedule, you won't want to nute all the time. If you're going 6 Micro / 9 Bloom, it may be something like Nute, Water, Water. Only you will know how often you will have to feed. You may only have to feed every 2 weeks but it depends on multiple factors.

I've done the same thing as you in soil for many years and I now realize how dumb it was. The way that i see it now, why was I destroying my soil by adding General Hydroponic salt based nutes? It doesn't make any sense. Spending all that money on a great organic soil and then adding salt based nutes that will kill all the good stuff in the soil. I'd personally go for a all in one organic nutrient instead but if you're set on General Hydro Flora Series then I still gave you some advise.

You are correct about the soil. It's mostly me being lazy, and getting a pre made good mix. I could just as well have gotten a standard peatmoss and some perlite for 1/6 of the Allmix from Biobizz. I fully admit to that

But. That is what i have atm. And i also already got the GH nutes. So i'm gonna give it a go or 2 as this.
The 6/9 ratio you mention. Is that ml/gallon?

Just giving you some things to consider. I feel you. I kind of did the same thing. Yeah it's mL per gallon. Some people also add a little Kool bloom and some who don't use Kool Bloom up the bloom so that the formula is 1 part Micro to 2 parts Bloom. For me personally, I was using:

4 Gallons Water
24 mL Micro
36 mL Bloom
5 Grams Powder Kool Bloom

If I wasn't using the Kool Bloom for the grow, I use:

4 Gallons Water
24 mL Micro
48 mL Bloom

But you'll have to look at the plants to know how often to nute them. Bigger plants in smaller pots will have to be fed more frequently. Personally, I have the best results treating the soil more like coco and when I feed, I like there to be run off that I empty.

The one problem that I had was after a few weeks of feeding, the pH of the soil would fall out of balance. As long as enough run off comes out after each feed, I didn't have the crazy pH problems.

Thanks for the help :)
I will give it a go with the 1-2 ratio you mention. And use common sence from there. Regardles what method used, i do the same. Always make sure theres runoff. On my last grow, the runoff was always between 6-6,5 :)

I've been using the kiss method for several years now, i use maxibloom throughout the grow and flush for a few days every few weeks with ph'd water then back on the nutes, 2 weeks prior to harvest i hit em with koolbloom ONCE and then continue with fresh ph'd water until harvest time, i yield on average over a pound a plant, i know many growers that yield nowhere near that and they use way too many products!!

6/9 per gallon is for hydro systems
8/16 is for soilless mix unless you want PH problems and cal/mag deficiency

my media for rooting clones and sprouting seeds is general hydro flora series, 2 ml micro/4ml bloom per gallon
Veg under florescent 4ml micro/8ml bloom
veg and flower under HiD 8ml micro/16ml bloom, pH 6.4 right thru to last 2 weeks for flush.
schedule is feed at 6.4 pH 980 to 1200ppm, feed ph 6.4 980-1200ppm, no more than a trickle of run off or 10% max
the flush, ph 6.8 to 15 to 20% runoff max

so that's feed/slight runoff, feed/slight runoff. flush/good runoff
plant should if all is going well, need to be fed every 3 days, then every 2 near the end or if it's time to transplant (if it's in sunshine 4 or promix)

check out my grow diary or my journal, the feed schedule kicks ass and my plants are loving it.
I add dolomite lime when I premix my sunshine mix 4
Kool bloom gets added at weeks 3 and 4 for 6/7 weeks varieties and at 4 and 6 weeks for 8/9 week varieties.

works for me.
