LST problem

Amidst the craziness of harvest I let a vegging plant get to tall, I use heavy LST as I have a short room plus allows me to make rectangular plants to assist efficiency in small operation.

I bent her over the other night, there were four almost equally dominant mains. Two split at base was able to bandage them. A third snapped in middle of night. I saved her with a bandage (electrical tape) bUT had to use a splint. Now she's verticle

What idk is if I'll ever be able to bend that branch again or should I count my losses and cut it off? I've always used lst, I've let others get almost this big before bending over with no issue.... she's probably 3 ft btw....

so the branch that broke has gone vert again after being bandaged?
thats good, hopefully it means she is still drawing in nutes/ life form the main

i would give her a rest before trying to rebend it tho, like at least a few nodes worth, maybe more depending on the break and how its healing

anyway you could post a pic or two?

With that sort of break the plant already is going to slow growth to fix that break, so make sure you splint is tough and just bend it over up higher. When we break them over it called super cropping it will recover just fine, a knot will form where the break is. I fold mine over 90 degrees to the main stalk all the time. Some times two or three times...

Read about super cropping here https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=115377

I have super cropped, trying to not break outside skin, and iv overdone it a bit before but this was a full split. Like wudda died had not gotten bandaged and braced. It's verticle because of the splint. I'll give her a moment and try bending her over again above the splint.. maybe a little more gradual this time lol. Just never had issue before bending em flat as a AA cup in one fell swoop. This girl seemed Woodier for her size than I'm used to... thanks for the advice.

I'll see if I can get a pic later...

However I am going to brush up on super cropping now, that is an a,aging thread you included.... probably going to need to incorporate some supercropping into other lst on this girl to get desired outcome and control where the break happens so to speak...

It'll be fine. Let it heal, and when the "bulb " is where the break was is nice and hard, bend her again a little ways away from where it originally broke.

i tied one down to aggressively before and she grew so strong she ripped a branch right out of the socket!
