LST idea

Hey all, I stumbled upon an idea last night that I just tried out in my grow room. The idea is simple, the more plant area exposed to the light the better. My plants are probably a bit too tall to be most efficient, so I decided to tie them down away from the lights, exposing the lower bud sights 100% better.



Notice the weights on the ground near the fan holding the plants down



So now I have alot more bud sites exposed and I am very happy with it. Thought I would share.

And heres a shot right down the middle

i did a side by side grow. LST = 9 oz plant. Regular growth = 6 oz plant.

I did a mid stream lst once, I will never do it again. I found changing the way the bud is growing while it has flowers leads airy buds, and in my case, a few nanners too. Of course I cannot prove that it was that which caused the balls.

But I will be interested in seeing how yours turn out, I only do training in veg now

I agree. I've been noticing that anything more that tying her down(if necessary), once and I get bananas.

Nice looking idea though, and those are some bushes you have there!

Microwidow-----That is an absolutely well thought out Grow Room. It sure as Hell looks like YOU did your HOMEWORK.................Journeyman Level all the way.

Does your air circulation,ventilation and cooling match the work I see in your Photo's? My bet is that it does.

I can't see even a speck of dirt on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That is Super Tight and Sanitary.

yall gettn nanners must be doing something else i slap pinch bend and tie my girls up never had nanner because of it. every run i pinch and bend tops over.

That's a good general example of the benefits of LST. I'll definitely be delving into it with my current grow!
