LST and autoflowers?

This is Day 24 of a grow with Red dwarf and Hindu Kush.

I have an issue with space...not vertical, just the fact I have limited horizontal movement, limited light (150watt HPS), and 2 tent mates that are way smaller than the 2 plants I have LST'd.

Has anyone LST'd their autoflowers here?

Feedback, comments, and grow war stories all appreciated.

They look really good man. You can actually bend them a little more than that. They bend a lot more than you think.. i understand if this is your first attempt to LST a plant, i was scared to. over time i learned that they will take more of a bend than you think.

One more thing. Next time you make the first tie you can move a little higher up on the stem to get a better angle.

You can definetly bend them more than that. I did my first LST 2 days ago and was very suprised!

It's best to LST when the plants NEED water as they will bend easier. The point of LST is to get the plant almost horizontal to allow for a very even canopy w/ more surface area. I'd move your ties to a little bit different places though. You want your base tie tight against the bottom of the stem and I liked to place the other one right under the second to top node. This provided alot of stem to bend

hey, LST works great with autos, make sure you bend them 90 degrees, you can do it gradually, it will be easier when they are a bit dry/low on water.

I did a side by side last year with a couple Mi5s outdoors. One was LSTed the other not. Yields ended up the same from both plants. Since I don't need to LST I probably won't again.
