Now further wondering. When I make let's say fourth batch of seeds will the quality degrade or should I expect the same plants as from original seeds.
You can expect better plants than the originals if you select your parents carefully each generation. Having many selected plants is better, as the resulting seeds will have a more diverse genetic background (rather than just pollinating one female with one male - but it works too).
Peace
Although possible, not necessarily definite. The more you cross it the more of the ruderalis genes are going to be present
The more you cross it the more of the ruderalis genes are going to be present, it would be better to just buy more seeds to breed with than to keep breeding your own stock.
I dont want to hijack this thread, but I have another question. If you get some lowryder male pollen, and pollenate a regular female, will the seeds be autos?
I have some dwarf mix seeds soaking now,and planned on crossing the females with some regular pollen I have frozen, and also planned on saving any LR male pollen for crosses.Ive done quite a few crosses, but this is my first LR grow.
it will take a few seed runs to make a fully auto flowering plant
id say your first run will give you close to %20 - %30 true auto flowering plants, wht you would need to do then is pick the quickets and best looking plants the auto flowered and back cross em again, and again, and again untill you have eventuall stablized the strain its great fun you can eve use the non truely auto flowering seeds for an out dooo grow.. the auto gene that is only semi present should have shaved off a good week or to on the flowering
