LR#2 Feminized Day 34 (These are little guys aren’t they)

All you LR#2 experienced growers please have a look…

From all my research and reading, it is my understanding LR#2 only get between 10 inches to 16 inches tall..

So I guess these look ok for day 34??? I do still have another 30 or 40 days to go..

They are both right at 5 inches…

Any guess or estimate how many dry grams I might end up with??? I don’t think I have high expectations so was hoping to get a total of between 15 and 30 grams from both plants… Realistic????

They started to flower around Day 20...

This is my first ever grow and a Micro CFL grow(Keeping plants VERY close to the lights)

Thanks for you input and looking..

Day 34 5 Inches tall

They're small probably because you're using such small pots.. You'll be lucky to get a few G's off each IMO..

Wow a few grams.. :wallbash: That will be depressing... Yea I got some bigger pots for the next time... I am limited as we are talking a Micro space of 1.17 SQF... So pot size and space is a consideration I have to account for.. But still 5 inches in 34 days with another 30 or 40 days to go, I would assume they should at least get around 10 to 12 inches??? LR#2 are small anyway correct???

Thanks for looking and your input...

:/ Sorry..

Yeah I would look into maybe tree pots or grow bags.. I use 2 gallon grow bags for mine, and thats "Just enough" IMO..

Everyone starts somewhere dont be depressed about it, atleast you will have something.

you need to use really light soil with auto flowering plants. those should not be that small. i don't think pot size is your problem. i had plants get quite big in 16 oz beer cups. what kind of soil do you have in there?

Got pics of the beer cups?

I am running one in a beer cup right now, as a bored experiment, also.

no they will not reach 10-16" they look stunted/rootbound dont expect much more development out of them couple g's was a good estimate.

Thanks all for your input and advice…

For the soil I used a Lome type soil(I think that is what it is called).. It was like a 3 part mix of Canada Peat moss, Perlite and I forget the other stuff in it… It was no Marical grow or anything like that.. Very dark and rich and smells good.. I think my soil is ok although next time I plan to try the Fox Farms Ocean one maybe..

I am using the Fax Farm Nutes and have only been using about ¼ to never more then ½ the recommended amounts… Around once every 5 or 6 days… I also just started using a little bit of Blackstrap Molasses as well…

Questions…

Could I transplant while they are in flowering?? I have some pots that are about ½ bigger then the ones I used and I think I could fit both of these bigger pots in my grow case.. Or should I not Transplant during flowering???

Is it true that taller(deeper) type pots are better the lower wider pots??? Seems like I read this someone… these other ones I got are taller and deeper…

Really you don’t think they will get any bigger in the next 40 day??? They have so far been growing some each week as I have to move them down from the lights a little about once a week… I cant imagine them staying this size for the next 40 days??

Anyway again thanks for all your advice and please keep it coming… I love this site and how everyone helps everyone…

You can try transplanting during flowering, generally late into flowering its a bad thing, but you're not too far in.. you COULD try it for a little more stretch.. If it was me i'd have no problem transplanting them into bigger pots. It might not improve your yield much, or at all, but they probably could use it.

They wont get much bigger height wise IMO, but they will fatten up, like i said maybe 2-4gs per plant if they are fully done if all goes well. Just a rough estimate. Not sure on your soil.. though the plants do honestly look a little hot(too much nutes, also why transplanting could help)..

Thanks Danial... Yea the heat could be part of the problem... And I was thinking about cutting back some on my Nutes... I might try the transplant tomorrow.. I Just hope i dont kill them... :friends:

here is what they looked like just 6 days ago..
Day(28)

And Day (34) today

The more I think.. I would say transplant them.. and give them a good watering of straight water.. lay off the nutes a little bit for now.. It will atleast help with optimal bud formation :D :D

you could put both plants into 1 larger container for such a small space

Honestly if I was dealing with only 1 Sqft or so.. I wouldnt bother with AF's.. thats just me.. Not that i've done it personally, just from what I have seen. I would end up running clones in half gallon growbags, probably atleast 6-9 plants.. I think it would be far more efficient.

:dueling:my advice would be to start over, but keep them going if u can, youll have around 4 grams to tide u over for a day and a half lol before your next harvest. with autos, u gotta treat them good and not waste days makeing mistakes because of thier short life, if your lowryder 2's start budding and arent atleast ''about'' a foot tall with a leaf span of a foot or slightly over that its a good idea to junk them and plant new seeds, i know its an unpopular view as some people think its smart to risk personal freedom for 80$ worth of weed but i think its foolish and if u cant make 80 bucks in two months to buy 4 grams then grow on. but if u learned alot then also its great that it only cost u a few autos to get some education on growing......:yoinks::woohoo::moon::joint:

i just looked at the pics and it will slow the growth but it can't hurt to try. the buds you will get now aren't worth not trying. i would get some potting soil and add 20% perlite and 20% vermiculite. roots will enjoy that new room and easy to move in. try getting at least a 2 gallon container/bucket/pot. whatever you use make sure it's at least 1 gallon.

Yea... I am kind of LOCKED in with my situation... I have to stay very stealth... been dreaming of the day when I would not have to worry about stealth but that will be a long time...

I think I will try the transplant...

Went ahead and transplanted into pots almost twice as big, watered with a little FF Big Bloom and put them to bed... There was roots coming out the bottom of the dirt but it was not like a huge amount... But my guess was they were starting to get root bound..

Wish me luck.. Like you guys said I really dont think transplanting will hurt anything and who knows, it might help some...

I will try and remember to update this posts in 30 or 40 days and report if I got any love...

Thanks all...
