LR#2 Auto Fem.. Don't look like a male or Female?????

OK.. This is not my first rodeo but I am so stumped...

Got a LR#2 Auto Fem in day 40 and I have no clue what this thing is..

My previous LR#2 Auto Fems by day 45 were showing easy to see Buds..

I cant get any Pics because I don't have my camera.. But I got a large Magnifying glass and I have been looking at this thing up close for several days...

I don't see male balls ANYWHERE... I don't see Fem buds...
It almost looks like it's stuck in the beginning of Flowering...

Any ideas??? I almost wonder if something strange genetically is going on with just this one seed... I have even thought about going to a 12 12 light to see if that triggers anything even though this is a Auto and I should not have too.... Had it 20 4 since seed..

I am stumped.. Any help appricated...

wtf is going on, low2 buds at day 20-25, not day 40, your doing something wrong or u got sold bunk.

maybe its a semi auto . ive had these from paradise seeds .
didnt auto flower and only showed sex after 40 ish days .

Look for a thread by Claude Hopper in this forum, he too had some LR2 that didn't AF

Thanks for the Info guys.. Yea I have heard not all Auto Fems will 100% be Auto Fems.. So maybe is just got lucky(In a bad way I mean).. I am just not sure what to do.. I wont kill it.. Its they only one I have going right now so no danger if it does end up being male...I would like to see what it ends up doing in the next 3 or 4 weeks..

I might go ahead and put it on 12 12 just for fun to see if anything changes..

All my other LR#2 I have been very happy with...

I imagine it would be showing sex soon anyway, hopefully they got the feminised bit correct so it won't be a complete waste.

You could keep vegging it and take clones perhaps?

You could knock the light hours down to 16/8? and see if it is a Semi AF..

I'd flip it to 12/12 soon though if you have any kind of space constraints

Sounds sadly familiar to me!

I had ten regular LR2s that I purchased from (never again) a site famous for the hot flat-chested blonde with leaf covered nipples.

These plants started out fantastically.

Here they are on february 28, exactly 2 weeks old. The pots are 6" square:

Here's one of them at 6 weeks old. She just had preflowers at this time:

I complained to the vendor but they only suggested cranking the light to 18/6. This didn't trigger flowering. I then dropped to 12/12 and they did start flowering, but by this time I needed the lights to start my good outside sativa crop. I chopped all but two and planted those outside.

Once outside they went straight back into veg. I couldn't believe that a supposed auto would reveg at around 14.5 hours of light but they did. They grew like Monsanto had engineered them with Kudzu genes.


The remaining plant is now approximately 7 feet wide and over 7 feet tall. I've never seen anything like it in 35 years of growing. To get this shot I had to climb an embankment and stay about 18-20 feet away just to get most of the plants width in the picture.

I don't know what my LR2's were really. I'm hoping this giant stacks on more flowers soon so I can sample this oddities fruit!

OMG.. That is wild... I have heard really good reports on the LR#2's and even had good results my first time I tried them.. I figure I just got a "strange" seed.. I have heard it happens...

For the heck of it,I will try 12 12...

p.s. But yes.. Sounds like you got sent some wrong seeds... Shame on that place.. Thanks for the heads up.. Will never order from them..

i had short stuff #1 from world wide %$&*&$ seeds, cut em down at 7 weeks, no buds, it does happen, switch em to 12/12 and look at it like your saving electricity, u got something unknown.

If anyone is having issues with LR#2 FEM or REG they are getting bunk seeds,, JD prides himself with quality 100% AF genetics guys, he wasn't the first to do it for no reason, maybe 1 out of 1000 seeds could show some recessive shit but other then that there is no way to go wrong with JD.

Your plant is prolly a fluke, you can't expect every seed out of 10,000 to grow correctly. After all even humans have mutant offspring. Personally I would kill it and move on.

All Real LR#2 finish by day 70 at the latest, and that is true for outdoors as well.

Agree.. Dont think any of us was meaning to sound like we were knocking JD... I LOVE the LR#2's I have had...

JD is a top notch breeder...

I think in my case I just got 1 "bad" seed..

In some of the other peoples cases, I think they have maybe gotten the old switch Ola from the people selling...

But yes.. JD is not the problem..
