Lowryder as a stop gap.

Growing these with 110w in the nursery, also have an electric propagator since these were shot.
I'm giving lowryder a shot due to time constraints until the next grow, basically we're moving house shortly.

Nursery stage, seedlings and propagator under 110w

At 3 weeks under 600w

All three stages under 600w.

At 5 weeks under 600w

At 7 weeks under 600w

Two of them got butchered recently at 5 weeks when I ran out of a smoke, but I'm waiting on the others, I wouldn't cut premium bud that early but I dont mind with this stuff, I bred out my own ones from some Joint Doctor original seeds, ended up with about 900 of them from two plants. I've given llots of them away to friends and family. I think they're a great fun plant and the smoke is good.

Lowryder and LR crosses are perfect for getting things going or a time gap like you say. I plan on starting back up growing here in the fall and I'm going to start with a LR cross to get things going. This way when they are in flower for a month I'll add some clones in. When I harvest the LR the clones will be in flower for a month and I'll be able to get the perpetual thing going. I'm also throwing a few outside here in a few weeks for a end of the summer harvest. I figure the harvest will last me until I can harvest again in the fall. Good plan.

It's no Jack Herer, but there's nothing wrong with it. I think that people who complain about it not being the shit just want white widow and crystals bursting all over the place all the time. I smoke every day, I dont need it to blow me to kingdom come every time.

Look at the last bud shot, it's tight and nice, but it doesn't frost up a lot.
I'm happy with it to keep me going until I run the feminised power plants that I have for the next time. Gonna scrog some powerplants in bubblers for my next experiment, I reckon I could pull 15 oz or more with two hydro pots and the screen. It'll also leave enough room in my large grow room for lowryders down the front.

This is my first time to grow them out really, I ran off ten seeds from joint doctor, they were a 50:50 split, I bred two out and I smoked three, but as I had some skunk on the way I only used it unmatured and out of the microwave :/ just for a swift cure and to stop me having to buy off someone. I'll have some figures soon though cos I have 15 in total, one is almost ready to top and that's the one in the photo there, from now on in though cos I have some smoke they'll be cured properly and I can tell weights. I reckon I'm looking at 7g on that one. I'll keep the thread updated as they come on.

Since the last post one plant has been smoked, again not properly cured, this time I almost got there, it's been cut about a few days too early, it's almost there, still looks pretty good though.
There are another two at the same stage as this one, but they can wait another few days.
The last one yielded 8g.
This one looks like possibly a little more.
I keep the trim in the freezer until I have enough to put through the Ice-o-lator bags, that shit really fucks you up hehe.

Here's the photos anyway.

Ahhh,I remember lowrider. I did some of the original test grows for MDanzig way back when - had some great experiences with autoflowering plants that ended up being about 24" tall overall !

You've got your lights in 18/6 right? Whatever you do, don't leave em on 12/12 as they will be way too small !!! Since they autoflower, they can go anywhere from 12-20 hours of light per day, pretty cool actually.

Let us know how your smoke turns out mate,

Cheers,

B-
