if i planted a load of lowryder 2s out next year i want to go back to the patch only once to sex the plants at how many weeks would i be able to tell the males from the females without the females getting pollunated many thanks fellas.

go back and check around day 21 from planting, you should find all the males but keep looking. But they do need some love when young bro, I dont think you can leave them just like that,,they will dry out unless you have rain at least 2 times each week.

You could round up the males like ICC said, or you could just wait a month to go and completely sex the stand. Even if the male flowers did open by then, there wouldn't be enough female flowers to adversely affect the end result of the grow. Besides, a few seeds would be a bonus.

You could add some of those water [polymer crystals to the planting soil and possibly get away with it, but you'd have to be careful on the feedings.
