Lowrider #1

Picked up some of maffe's LR from SBay - put them in to soak today.

Plumped a fresh batch of peat pucks - boiling water, and manually declumping with minor "massage" after cooling.

Water had been sitting for several days - all 10 went into soak.

Gonna put these with the revegging Fem SuperSkunk and a M.I.S. we started little while ago (24/7 right now)...

Hey man ,,
There really are a shit-tons of new strains out now that are WAY more worth to grow than LR (better yield and way better potency).
Not saying LR ain't worth growing, just sayin don't judge AFs by Lowryder#1.

Your tooth pain gone btw ?
Was at the dentists earlier today.....

Tooth is great - thanks fer askin'...

I know about the LR - I had some LR#2 from S4L, but they didn't survive the grow for various reasons. I just wanted to run some AF, had the beans. I'd love some mdanzig, but I'm too ghetto right now...

I have small cfl cab that is gonna be 24/0 for a couple o' months, so the LRs will just kill some time and space...

I think LR#1 is the BEST for making other auto flower varieties from as it's the closest to the pure Ruderalis genetically speaking. The LR#1 plant is more for breeding at this point.

For sure :)

Small CFL cabs are great for AFs btw.
Line up the interior walls with white matte and the whole cab will be intensely illuminated with 200-300 watts of CFL since it ain't big. Branching like crazy. A friend of mine has this setup which I helped him build. Some nice vent work behind the cab, totally stealthy tho heheh.

Good luck

This is what many breeders used to believe but this is changing.
Mdanzig and other AF breeders that go on forums all stated at a point that they are going for AFs without the LR in the mix at all.
I'm not saying its not good to use, since alot of good strains came from LR#1, but maybe it isn't the "best" anymore.

6 of the LR are up, none have shed seed case yet.

I accidentally left them out, sitting on the pc case for warmth - they were at the back, under the desk, I had moved something in front.

Wifey / kids never noticed. Big time whew...

They are now back into my desk (dark and warm), until Netwerx is ready for them...

The pure stock I got from JD of LR#1 blew all my expectations in dro. Take a look, LR #1 is STILL WORTH GROWING. Yes there are some very unique and probably more potent strains, but you won't be dissapointed, even 4-5 years after it's initial release, with the smoke.

I will disagree. You can get strains far more indica or sativa to match the direction you are breeding in.

I'll actually say that the consensus is that the original lowryder was never really "ruderalis", but something else.

Keep growing them, though. You can get some seeds to start a new project, or just some practice for your next bag o' seeds.

Nice pics krazycure. I've got five of the JD LR#1 on their third set of leaves in a small cfl box. Same as Classy I'm just curing some winter blues with a little experimenting. Letting the LR go to seed for a few projects this year outdoors. I'm also running Early Misty, Ducksfoot, and the Mazar I Sheriff that all got hit with EM pollen last week. Can't wait to see how the LRs turn out. Will be utilizing them for their breeding potential undoubtedly. I'll be taking a seat here as well to enjoy progress of anothers LR.

2 more are poking - hope they make it.

These are just what the hell beans - the lights are on revegging, so might as well...

Thanks for posting, guys - appreciated...

Did they have any trouble shedding their seed cases?
