Yeah, the autoflowering strains are hardly "crap". The Mdanzig derivations and the JointDoctor's weed are made to be hermi free, also, which is a beautiful thing in itself. Give that enough time for the "knocker-offers" to mess that up.
The Masterlow, from MDanzig, is indeed "dank weed" if done properly.
Outdoors seems like it can take a few weeks to a month more than the recommended flowering times to ripen, and the yield isn't so great compared to indoors.
Early Bramble, Mighty Mite, and many others flower early, but certainly won't bud, as most understand "autoflowering" to be, under 24 hours of light. If the plant description describes flowering in August, September, etc, that means it's regular flowering.
If it says something like "9 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest", THAT"S AUTOFLOWERING.

I started some up and put a few LR's in the garden and in the woods. I notice if you keep them cramed in small starter pots they stay small. I think if they were started in more soil they would get a bit bigger. The root system must grow fast because it flowers so fast. The more room for the roots to grow the bigger it will get before it flowers. The ones I have are pretty small and will probally yield around a few grams a piece. I just see them as a sample smoke in the summer while I'm waiting for the regular plants. I also have a few Power Stouts flowering in the bushes. They are small too. They are neat little plants though.

the best i could offer is the post, perhaps..
it's true, there's a diff (IMO) between AF and EF..
Guerilla Gold has some AF some EF if i recall..
there are other true AF that are supposed to be more potent or better yeilding..
but even so well grown indoor LR can best alot of mediocre commercial, so it still wins.
If you're from the prairies it's EASY to find a couple of heavily produced strains of mediocre and moderate quality... any (even lowryder) well grown homegrown is appreciated more.
