Low humidity

So everything in the space is dialed in except humidity. It is low, real low! The NL girls were started 3 weeks ago, and have been of to a very rocky start. They are in DWC, and it the first time using FNB. EC .5 Ph 5.3-5.8 Not sure if the humidity is causing troubles or a nute problem. They have been getting fed for a little over a week and look burnt. Could it be the low humidity or something else?
I cant imagine .5 would burn them up, it never did with Technaflora. Could they be more hungry? The pH has moved up a little, but EC stays steady. I cannot give a pic, but they look spotted rusty and some of the old growth is crisping up and dying. Roots are growing mad, and new growth is not affected YET. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'd say it's your new nute regimine, or a pH thing. Once i finished my setup I freaked out to find that my RH was about 30% (sometimes dropping as low as 25%) but the plants haven't even noticed (and another good thing about this is that I have yet to see one single insect in my new setup).

But yeah, I doubt it's the humidity, you'll see the leave margins start to curl up (like they are drying out). If you are that worried about it you can also mist the bitches frequently.
Hope that helps.

Ph and EC are good. Humidity is so low it just says low...which is less than 20 percent. That has to effect it somewhat. .5 EC is hardly anything. Please help!

Raise EC to .8 and PH range from 5.8 to 6.0. This recommendation can correct Mg K def. With low humidity you can also ask yourself if the lights distance to plant is contributing to additional plants stress.

Added a ultrasonic humidifier today, it is getting it up to almost 30% already. Lights are plenty far enought away, same set up as always. You think it could be a mag def already? Raised EC to.8-1.0 Can try to raise the pH, was started at 5.3 and moved naturally to almost 5.8. Thought that FNB was supposed to be between 5.2 and 5.8? They are growing pretty good, but the old growth is looking sad, roots are really taking off.
If anyone has used FloraNova and can give some advice I am open for suggestions. Thanks alot!!

Hey what humidifier did you get?

When I bought a humidifier it didnt do shit I think its cuz I had to much ventilation.

Now that my girls are bigger my humidity went from about 25% to about 40% .

Actually it is just an ultrasonic fog maker. Put it in a bucket of water by the intake and it sucks right in, there is a shit ton of ventallation! That is why it is hard to keep humidity down, and you are right once they get bigger they hold humidity. They are just small and cannot take low humidity in winter. Hopefully this helps, it was under 20% percent because it just read LOW before using the ultrasonic. Figured with such good air movement the air going into needs to be high humidity and can suck past everything instead of just getting sucked straight out! Helps so far, but would like it to be higher.
