hey everyone! this is going to be my first journal so please bare with me! ive grown several plants in the past. but my knowledge has grown a TON sense my first baby! (theres a story about me in the introduce yourself page)i have already started the plants and have it all written down in a book. so im gonna start this off by writing out what has happened sense they sprouted.

Strawberry og!

strawberry og is a cross between a strawberry cough and chem valley kush! i got 6 reg seeds from a very nice guy i met threw the probiotic farmers aliance on facebook(i dont use social media anymore cept instagram for my glass addiction)

germinated the six seeds on 3-21-15 using spring water, all of them popped and planted on 3-22-15 but two died during the seedling stages. left with 4. 2 taller 2 shorter. i marked the 2 taller ones to see if they are the males.

3-24-15 shells popped off

3-27-15 sprouts are looking beautiful and reaching for the light!

3-28-15 3 of 19 clones i have taken from a dying bc kush plant have rooted. (first time cloning)

3-29-15 4 seedlings get transplanted into red solo cups from their coir pots and 3 clones get planted in solo cups also!

3-31-15 put all seedlings in my ghetto seedling box (93 true cfl watts mixed spectrum)

4-1-15 19 days from 420 sprouts are getting their second node.
the healthy bc kush plants are in day 41 of flowering!

4-4-15 clones are growing fast!! 4 sprouts and 3 clones are growing fast now!

4-10-15 sprouts are getting their 3rd node

4-11-15 fed everything with a light feeding from general hydroponics go box they are almost ready for bigger pots!

4-12-15 wow. growth has exploded over night on clones and seedlings!

i was so excited i hopped right into the plant before talking about my equipmentXD

Equipment:

-lights-platinum led p450, 200watt sunblaster cfl 2700k, 125watt sunblaster cfl 6400k, 55watt sunblasters if needed

-medium- pro mix hp with eartworm castings

-nutrients- general hydroponics go box until i can find all the amendments for true living organics

-area- 2x5 foot closet for veg, 4x4 amazon tent for flower

-containers- solo cups, garbage cans made into pots, and smart pots

-temps- 85 day 75 night

-RH- so dry up here. 30% average (need to make a humidifier)

Sounds nifty - without seeing anything, I'd say to mix your nutes way weaker than usual. Temps too high plus RH too low means the plant needs more water for the same amount of growth. I start everything at half strength with the GH 3 part to start and work from there, but for you I'd probably suggest even a little bit lower.

damn hmm i wonder whats up with that. i can see themXD ive noticed this strain is a fairly heavy feeder and loves the high doses once my vortex fan get here (damn canada post) ill have those temps in check the clones though have been getting a quarter strength solution for now. i just transplanted them into 1gal root pouches

they didnt even stress over the transplant. within an hour they were perky and looking damn fine! nodes are starting to branch out topped two gonna leave the other one. 4 of the seedlings are getting transplanted tomorrow. just feeding them r.o water much love

transplanted the strawberry og seedlings into 3 gallon pots and put under my 125 watt cfl. and have the 3 clones under 110 watt cfls i packed the soil too tight in the fabric pots. i noticed the clones started wilting a bit from it but i picked em up tapped them a bit and they are back to normal. everything is growing amazing! the bc kush thats in flowering has about 99%milky trichs and 1% amber! shes getting really close

damn! 420 made me forget about the internet diary otg well. they are doing mighty fine!! all have been topped cept one clone and they are growing super fast! loving the root pouches. quick update im super busy im going to start lst as soo as the tops grow a few nodes namaste

the seedlings are growing crazy fast all are doing great but one is stunted and the serated leaf tips are fraying. i believe its a nutrient problem. the clones are almost ready for clones to be taken from

went to transplant the clones into their 5gals because i seen a root or two pop out the bottom. turns out she didnt need a transplant. anyone have tips for pulling plants out of those fabric pots? i feel like i caused her waaaaaay too much stress in the process. the strawberry og seedlings are growing huge and getting their second node on the two tops that they now have growing mighty fine. the one that had a problem bounced back and where i topped it it has a third shoot growing! neat! ill get pics up whenever i can post them does anyone know when i can post pics? namaste

still can't see pics but it's a pain to get them out. The best is to wait as long as possible. The root ball won't crumble if it's almost rootbound and then you can slowly unroll the bag and inch it down the sides of the root ball. Just be very, very, very careful and take your time.

thanks guys my plan is to never use the single gallons again. ill plant in solo cups then directly into their forever homes. i hate stressing out my babys. ima try that with the other two clones in a week or so when the roots filled out morethe one clone bounced back instantly when transplanted though. which suprised me. i almost cried pulling her outXD

the one bc kush plant that has gotten all the love from my experiment is almost ready. the branches are super heavy this is my first grow that isnt ghetto as fuck so im super excited for harvest shes gonna be comming down this weekend

strawberry og. the 4 seedlings are doing well. one has leaves that look like they have been eat at but there are no bugs or anything on either of the plants. and one that i topped has three tops growing from it!! ive never see such thing. the third top is very small. ill get some pics up as soon as i can the other three are growing very well. no two are the same. one looks like it has a lanky sativa structure and another with a tall sative structure but very very tight nodes on it. then two are staying shortish. one shorter one has a wider node spacing then the other. im trying to grow out the branches for clones but i dont know if i should or if i should wait till my raredankness seeds come in( gotta try n pick what ones firstXD) well everything is looking mighty fine. the clones have there 3rd node comming up from when i topped her. going to super crop the two tops this week and then transplant into their 5 gallons veg for a week then they go into flowering if the bc kush is out. they ones in flower still have some clear trichs that i noticed this morning. sense its an indica im letting it go as long as possible to get the most couch locked buzz from it. cant wait to get pics and get them up here much love<3
