lots of pics lots of problems!

i pretty much have 3 even 5 grows all happing in the same room. ill break it down. moms and clones are 2, then in flower a soil grow at wk7, an aero grow at wk5 and a ebb n flow in week 1. ill soon have just ebb n flow, once the others are harvested.

will break down individual problems in seperate threads to clerify.

general info on the room and set up(will be the same for all below)- JUST dialed in room, soil dudes have been suffering.
- 50 to 60 RH
-70/82 F night/day F
- exhaust out side with a 265cfm thru a carbon filter
-650cfm cooling lights and exhausting in to adjact room
- both fans on from 1hour before and 1hour after lights turn on
-dehuidifier goes all day and night on auto
- 2 600w hps on light mover
-feed aero every 2hours for 15minutes
- feed ebb n flow every 3 hours for 3minutes(fills tray)
-using AN conni, and all other AN nutes from calculator(i think its a rip)
- soil PH is at 6.5 with run off, aero and ebb are at 5.6 (AN recomended) having to adjust daily with GH acid, using a lot of it, pH drifts a full point in a day! using 2 5gal buckets for aero, and 1 70qt tank for ebb.
-just started using RO water, i filter myself. ph 7. I THINK THIS IS WHERE MY PROBLEMS STARTED! BEEN ABOUT 5 DAYS.
- growing AK47 and White Russian from serious seeds. now using the clones from those mommas.(never budded)

I think thats all you should need.

Problem #1:
my ebb n flow plants are just starting week 2. they seem to be getting progressivly yellower from the front of my tray moving toward the back. kinda wierd progression. the top newer growth seems to change first. pics below.

I've just had the same problem with trying to upload pics. For now you can stick them in your gallery and users can click on the button below your post saying 'gallery' -see it?
But I would like to know how to include pics in the post body too. Any one? I did try working it out, the FAQ and so on but I can't spend that much time fussing about so someone know?

First of all, I'm not really a hydro guy, but with that being said, here are my thoughts on your situation:

1.For some reason, the front of your tray is in contact with the nutes longer than the back. Since all of your plants are now showing N deficiency, you are going to have to tweak either your nute levels or the amount of time your nute solution is in contact with your roots(flow cycle).

2.RO water is pure water, which is good and bad. The good news is that there's not a ton of crap in there altering your pH and maybe locking out nutes. The bad news is that there are no minerals like Calcium and Mg in it. You will have to either add Cal-mag (or another source of Ca and Mg) or you can experiment using a mixture of tap water and RO water.

I never use a dehumidifier when the lights are on and only at night when the buds are huge, it adds too much heat and dries it too much. Why did you flower when the plants were so small?

No calmag on RO water= serious issues.
Add calmag to ~250ppm, THEN your nutes, THEN do the pH adjustment.
pH drift UP is incredibly common in hydroton, which MUST be soaked at pH 6 until the pH stabilizes before use. If you didn't do that, you are going to have to suck it up and just keep dropping your pH until it stabilizes from use. You will have to dump and re-fill your res at least once during this time to get rid of any unwanted byproducts of this neutralization.

If your hygroton clay pellets were NOT washed THROUGHLY the minerals in the clay pellets will affect yours plants ability to uptake certain nutrients. Hope you get your problems nipped in the bud. = )
