top shelf for sure!!! Do you maintain all those strains in mother-plant form, or are a few of them experimental hybrids?

Also, is that "Red Mutant" a freaky Red Congolese mutant? let me know if you know the lineage of that particular plant....

keep up the fine work!!! Happy plants indeed.....

:ying: kind regards from guineapig :ying:

They all look good dog! I'm assuming most of them were from seed??? I know the kush has been hyped up by everybody in Cali, but that Kali Mist will always have a place in my heart... Such a nice energetic high from the mist.... Mmmmm I miss that one... Good grows I brethren...

Thanks everyone.
I'll get better pic's next time.

All from clones mothers that I do keep, yes.
The choco Deez was from seed but it's a clone mother that I picked as a keeper.
The rest I got all as clones.

As far as the Red Mutant goes... I'm fairly sure it has sour Diesel in it from the way it grows. But other then that I don't know. It tastes like a Purple Kush/diesel haze.
Good strong high, real stinky.

If you look at the last pic of the yellowing SSDiesel haze.
You will see the effects of not enough Calmag.
Lots of yellowing in late flower. Lack of flavor and slows finishing time.
Since I made this soil mix, I needed to be adding more cal mag.
Now I am and the plants are loving it.
You can see it in the way they reach for the light.
I think I got this mix dialed.

I'll be watching this one for sure JDOG:wink:

They are looking good. I'm glad to hear you got your mix dialed. Is it still the same recipe you posted in mysta's MMM thread?

Hey guinepig, I think swerve said the Red Mutant cut came from Scotland. So maybe some folks from around those parts can chime in.

Ramona says hi yall.

Pretty much ther same recipe.
What really dialed it in was adding extra cal mag to my water.
I wasn't adding it everytime and thats why I was getting that late yellowing.
Other then that I adjusted the mix to be about half a 3 gallon pot of Happy Frog
then I fill the rest up with Light warrior until there is about 2-3 inches left, then I fill that with perlite all the way to the top. This seems to be working better in the higher temps of summer. In the winter I just add more perlite and less happy frog.
Then dump into a bag and mix in the fruit n flower.(1 Tablespoon)
The important thing from here on out is to add calmag to every watering(except if your flushing) Especially towards the end when the calcium in the fruit n flower wears out.
Then ,if you don't add your own, you get the yellows.
I also add sugar daddy for carbs, silicate for strength(and incase it gets real hot or too cold while I'm out)Liquid Karma and Budswell after the first month of flowering.
Depending on the strain and other factors.
I might add purple Maxx towards the end once or twice.

Thanks for posting your recipe again. I was wondering if you had anything to say about Ocean Forest.

Great Grow, Great Flavors, Keep up the good work...

The Happy frog could be replaced by Ocean forest.
I just never tryed it because Happy frog is cheaper and just as good. IMO.
But it would be cool to see someone else try it with OF instead of HF.

I actually mix 2 parts HF to 1 part OF. A few hippie friends of mine use only OF and they used to criticize me for not using it. That is why I started mixing in with the 2:1 ratio. It seems to be workin a bit better for me. I do not like using only OF though. I do see problems and believe that the HF helps fix them. Price is also a reason for the 2:1 ratio of HF/OF.

I have grown identical clones using the different ratio's of soil and could do it again if anybody is interested.

The biggest difference was the root stuctures. The 2:1 ratio has always came out healthier over all. This may be different for other people though according to their nutes.

Have you ever grown the Choco Deez before? I have never heard of that one, what's it parental makeup?

Chocolate diesel. It's Chocolate Trip x Sour Diesel. And Mysta grew it.
I gotta say, that plant is one of the most potent plants I ever smoked.
Unfortunately, I screwed up some how in all the strain clutter and hermed mine bad.
So I got start that over.
I think I'll wait till after the summer. So heat isn't a factor.
But it hermed because I over fed it, I guess.
It looked perfect to me. But balls started to emerge out of the cola, alot!
Balls and Bananas. So I pulled it.
It worked out because I was running out of room.
But it sucks because that bud is bomb. Good thing I have the mother!

Anyway moving on.
Add Chemdawg #4 to the list. It's hard to be mad about the Choco Deez on the day I got chem #4.lol
Plus Purple Urkle to boot. I figured if I want to smoke some bomb Urkle, I better grow it.
Because the urkle at the clubs in my town sucks ass Now a days.
Back in the day it was bomb, so I know how it can be.
And I miss that pure urkle taste.
I'm not a big crazy fan of the urkle hybrids. But I've been loving her on her own for quite a while and it's been way too long.
