Yesterday I found out that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are going on tour in August and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be playing with Pearl Jam for 4 shows..2 of which are in Denver.

I'm planning on seeing RHCP in Phoenix with my best friend if he's gonna be in Arizona when they're there. I plan on seeing Petty and Pearl Jam by myslef as long as I can get a ticket.

I hope there's even more good concerts to come but we shall see. Looks like these are two of the big ones of the summer though.

Your right, this is a good year for concerts. I am waiting on conformation (should be today) for tickets to six Dave Matthews Band shows this summer, Phoenix, Cali, Utah, and then when they go to Denver. I am hitting up Jack Johnson this year also, along with the RHCP.

I did not know about the Pearl Jam/Petty shows. I'm going to look into that now.

Keep the Peace

Bonnaroo is cool, but damn expensive.

Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) is coming to where I live in September,I can't wait. Tom Petty is also at the end of this month but I doubt I'll be able to make it.

If its an open air concert. And you are poor and cant afford the $100 or what ever the cost is. You can listen very nicely from outside, with out actually going into the crowds. Where unless you actually go up to the stage you cant see anything in anycase. So take a blanket, wine, munchies, friends, and crash out on the lawn, or whereever outside of the stadium and enjoy the music in calm.

I went to hear Sting last week, Was Fantastic. Cost me $1.5 bus fare. Sound was awesome, was peaceful and very pleasant on the lawn ourside with about 100 other people who had the same idea.

Thursday night is Roger waters, and I am very prepared.
July will be Via Con Dio, and The lead singer from Jet RO Tull, August will be Depech Mode.
