looking to buy new bowl/bong piece...what gives best taste?

Currently have small glass bowl and also arizer vaporiser. Looking to get something new maybe water pipe or bubbler of some sort. Something that gives smoother smoke then small dry pipe but I'm curious if all these perc and icecatchers can effect taste of good bud. Sometimes I find smoking gives stronger flavor than vapor and also different high, kind of lighter and more heady. Budget will prob be around $50 so nothing crazy. Thanks

Like I said I'm not interested in some 3-4' tall piece of architecture or 3 perc setup. More looking at something small but better than the one I got now which is similar to this one below

I got a $50 dollar quality glass table bubbler for $25 talk him down to $20

bubblers have the water, you get the perc effect

and nice Bubs shit all over regular dry pipes. I hate the tar up and clogged yucky resin taste etc.

Bubs have good flavor, are good looking, smoother with the water, and don't gobble weed

find a slow mom and pop shop that just wants to make a sale before
you walk out the store and you'll get a good deal
seems like prices have gone done since the greenboom idk

my personal opinion is as long as its glass then your fine. wood gives off a taste; metal gives off a taste, plastics are momentary at best and you will eventually throw it away, cant speak on ceramics or stone so maybe someone can chime in BUT I don't care if you spend thousands or a couple of dollars, whether you have it custom made or make it yourself, glass is always the way to go plain and simple

I like to keep my pipes clean so I really don't like anything with too many parts so yeah i'd never be caught with anything that has any amount of percolators on it

I found a seller selling these color changing hammers on etsy

I asked him to make me a dozen of them. They all get cleaned once a week and I will only smoke 1 strain in 1 pipe so as to not have the taste get confused with other strains. The pipes are cheap, around $22 bucks each and I keep a clear thing on the counter, as they get dirty I drop them in and every Saturday the special pipe person cleans then.

For show I have a Volcano for both flowers plus the attachment for oil and concentrates, a bunch of bongs and nicer looking pipes all much more expensive as some of them run into the hundreds of dollars. But it's those little 5 inch color changing hammers that do the heavy lifting
