While I would agree with a lot of that for the contemporaries, some of us old guys still react pretty much the same way with regards to the giggling, the meditative qualities ( " thinking ) although I never remember seeing colors cept when I was dropping acid and being partners with the chemist who made clear dot blotter right in the village in the late 60's.......I can attest to being psychedelisized on many many occasions
