I wish you the best on your hunt.

Stanky skunk is a tough one to find. On the plus side, great plants can be found in those kinda gene pools.

I did a similar run last year. I hunted some nature's farm, some from the other guy, and private crosses but the best came from 93' seeds.

Worthy of mention is one that came from a hoodoo x sk18 cross... smoked good and was quite odorous but no skunk.

Increase the sulphur in your regime

I'm currently trying a strict calcium/potassium thiosulfate and thioacetate program, along with trying individual sulfur bearing amino acids. Will let the community know. Since all the funded legal operations are trying to keep the science secret and I'm not smart enough to ask chemistry questions.

"Thiosulfate increases plant sulfide and cysteine persulfide levels which means that plants are in a more reduced state with thiosulfate than with sulfate. The microarray analysis of plant roots revealed that 13 genes encoding Cysteine-rich proteins were upregulated more with thiosulfate than with sulfate. "

The way sulfur compounds change through the process is too much for my addled brain. Just gonna try it all. Your cysteine can turn into homocysteine, methionine into disulfide, which does something else down the line yada yada yada. Who knows. Just gonna try it all and hope I can end up with the right proteins and the right chemical reactions. I get garlic for days, one carbon molecule away from Skunk. And plenty of cheese, shit, piss, funk.

You can't tell me people bred for cheesey sweet sweaty pit shit piss dead body funk strains, but intentionally bred against skunk specifically to hide from the cops. That's a straight up lie because it's all very identifiable as Cannabis. Even more so because their are no Mephitidae that smell like UK Cheese or Dogshit. Skunks were perfect cover for skunk weed. Growing dead body funk will draw the police faster than skunky weed will.
