looking for some recommendations

Greetings all, finally i get round to posting and i'm seeking advice already!! Turns out my lovely lady got us a week in Hamsterdam for my birthday from next sunday, and i figured i'd ask the experts if they had any must-try smokable suggestions for me to sample this time around. Its been a few years since i've been over, but previous faves have included Bushdocters Domina, Stix's Afghan/WW was knockout last time i was there, and i just couldn't get enough Nevilles Haze . I wondered if the 420 attendees had sampled anything in the coffeeshops which impressed, although i guess nothing would compare to the homegrown on show during the festivities...i looked forward to TF's bike tour tales although nothing has appeared yet. I used to quite enjoy Barneys and the Greenhouse although the vibe in Barneys seemed to be gettin nastier as time has gone on (the whole reeferman thing sketched me out a bit too tbh), and various reports of shaking and bad flush/cure have made me think i've wasted a fair bit of dosh in the wrong places...and what with Logic's report of glassweed in the dam, i'm just lookin for a heads up on the places to try. Plan on a visit to Katsu (to my shame, in 8 visits i've never made it out there) so the crystal clear will hopefully be available, i wondered if anyone had tried the Sulu hash, and also if anyone knew what the crystal clear is made from? and wondered people's opinions on Amnesia's Kashmir pollen (19 euros for import hash seems a bit steep), also whats the story with the Rifman hash from dampkring? Is it imported moroccan? What about the cocaine priced hashes from Resin? Are they worth the dosh? Did anyone make it out to Topweazle during 420, Moppel you have me intrigued with your recommendation but it seems a bit far away for my crappy navigation skills and lazy arse. Oh and as for Haarlem, where to start? A few friends i had in Hoofdorp (spelling?) took me to Haarlem a few years back and because of their love of hasj, i ended up in Regine (wicked puntjes i seem to recall) and the teehuis, but i never made it to the Willies shops, this time however....anyone tried the StickyFingers? Is it indica or sat or hybrid? Any other favourites from the 420 smokeout? All responses will be greatly appreciated, thankyou...boo-out

I liked the Hazes that Grey Area and Homegrown Fantasy offered. Does anybody know from what plants is "Dutch Dust" made, offered at Homegrown Fantasy ? Taste was too harsh for me...

Try to stick to the Sativa side of Amsterdam and offcourse avoid going to the coffeeshops in the Red Light (for that glass-weed...).I dont like to smoke Indicas in my holidays.

cheers for the replies, i noticed it was actually Logic and not Growdoc (soz GD) who spoke about the suspected glass weed, have amended my original post, Hazy its a few topics back in this section. I've only bothered with weed a coupla times in the RLD, once bitten hehe, although the lavender from hunters i remember bein quite nice, and Bluebird has always been one of my fave hangouts (dunno if it counts as RLD mind). I dunno if Resin was open the last time i was over, but the isolator prices just seem to be gettin crazy, the first time i saw it i got a bit from Coffeeshop Free-I(Eye?) and it was 20 euros a gram and boy was it goood, then the next time i went back a year later it was everywhere, and Barney Rubble was 45e a gram, and now 70?? I know it lasts ages and all, but £50 a gram seems a bit nuts...i'm hoping Willies will have the haze ice and pp ice as i bet they're kick ass and soo much cheaper.
Jimmy i know what you mean about smoking the indis on holiday, and nothing beats a nice haze and a trip to the Artis to look at the fishies, and the jaguar...i look forward to tryin the DNA gear in the grey area, it sounds nice. 5 days to go...can't wait

i just saw a picture of a menu for coffeeshop resin, it was takin not too long ago... the "unreal" 73 u bubble was priced at 50e a gram.. that is some expensive shit..

i also did try the barney rubble on my last trip there in february.. it was very good, but i really enjoyed the kashmiri and caramello cream much more from barneys.. the caramello was awesome.. i dunno what it is, but i seem to like the imports more than the overpriced bubble/ice-o-later.

the bit i've never understood about ice hash is,(don't laugh at the noob question) if it's just pure crystals, is there a difference between hashes made with different plants? I know obviously a sat hash is different to an indi one, but is there a difference between eg Nevs Haze hash and say, Kali Mist ice? I guess my gut instinct is that the hashes are a concentrated version of the plant it comes from, but i'm a bit skeptical of payin top dollar for something where they don't actually say what kinda plant it's made from....or maybe it doesn't matter?
I'm looking forward to tryin the rifman hashes, and the stuff on the Wilies menus looks divine, and i noticed milehigh recommending some moroccan creme from Papillon in 'dam which i'm gonna try and track down... cheers for yer input queso, 2 more days of work then a week of serious r'n'r....can't wait
