Looking for some knowledge about California...???

So, in May I have to go out to San Diego for business. Are there any Cannabis "relatively-friendly" or "friendlier" areas within a few hours or so from San Diego that one may go to check out, or is Northern California my safest bet? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't go to TJ man! Shit's dangerous. If you need to meet some chill stoners, head over to the Dog Park in balboa park. It's on 6th and Quince, just about 5 minutes north of downtown san diego. Also check out the frisbee golf course on the other side of the park on florida ave.

I would have to say that one of the most 420 friendly spots is Santa Cruz. If you have your license, about $150 from numerous MDs no questions asked, they have a dispenser right in town, clean, safe, friendly, good selection, super informed staff with clevage, and the prices are good.....Big Sur is a good spot to hang out. there are other dispensers in So. Cal. but more expensive and they seem to be getting toyed with by the Feds more often than not. They are so nervous down there. Stay away from Santa Barbara....Carpenteria is okay though. Central and Nor Cal are much more laided back....Lake Tahoe is another good spot.. If you have to be South...Oceanside, Laguna Beach, and Huntington Beach are on the maybe list. If you are going to spend that kind of money though, just to to the Big Island and be done with it! Aloha!

IMO, san diego has too much influence from the marine base around there. therefore, i would assume they are more conservative than northern california.

I've been living in Cali since 2006. Short time I know but I've been around a bit. I've been to clubs in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Sacramento, San Francisco, Oakland and Mendocino.

The best clubs are in Hollywood and SFV clubs. There are lots of different clubs. The selections there are unbeliveable with some clubs with more than 60 strains. The best part is that they are almost always in stock. They are reasonable priced from 30 to 70 for an eigth. You really need to look around to get good deal. There is a website specifially for this but I'm not sure if I can mention it here.

For people saying that Nor Cal is cheap. Yes it is if you know the right folks but its not consient like South Cal. IMO So Cal is the epic center of herb universe. Where else can you get like 20 variation of Kush. I bet you that the purple strain selection are getting better year by year. So... thebest bet is for quality/selection is Hollywood and SFV.

I've heard a lot of good things about Santa Rosa clubs... I will viisit it someday.
