The idea here is I have a cab in an area that I could pull cold air from outside the cab into the cab for cooling. Problem is, the air is not always cold. Wondering if there are thermostats that first check for a temperature level before engaging (example: if the air inside is more than 75 degrees, AND the air outside is less than 70 degrees, then engage). Any thoughts?

You want a Lux-WIN 100 thermostat controlled outlet connected to a thermostat/switch.

Put your temp sensor in the duct. Set the switch to allow power only when the temp is 70F or below. Place your thermostat controlled outlet where it can measure the room temps you want and plug your fan into it.

As long as the temps are below 70F... there will be power to the fan when it kicks on to cool.

The only issue I see is when the fan needs to cool and it's 71F outside... what's your option?

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:
