Count me in ,ive got lots of great stuff im working on i would like to contribute.Im gonna work on getting in the private breeders section,when i build up a decent stock.
Also would like to send in a bunch for free to be given out ,this is a great idea.Although it should probably be voluntary as all can't make seeds.My only problem is finding a absolute safe return adress,a place in usa to ship from,or that i could forward my seeds to to be shipped safely .
This site is just great to support ,and has helped so many of us,its time to give back ..

LOL,You guy's crack me up!!I been here since day 2,ICMag is my home!!Gypsy has nothing but my love and support.I got loads a beans if he needs them,say the word,......but who the hell's gonna pay money for beans from RED145?Yukon?Bubble Puppy.....dont take it as a blow to yer manhood fella's.When I want beans I buy them from reputable bean makers,guys who breed with a purpose and not because I have a male from a pak and I got a female from a pak...get me.

I dont know what it costs to run this site,ask for donations,hope to get something back,but dont expect to get all the bills paid by the members,it wont happen.I belong to many forums,any of the ones asking for and needing money do it like I said,donations.......it wont pay it all(hell it mite tho) and the ones who care can feel like they are helping.

I think the idea in the original post is a great one, I'd participate in buy/donate when able.
Also, don't know if this has been suggested but I'd suggest a donation button up top. Some forums I visit (like this one: http://forums.f13.net/ ) seem to do ok with it. Who knows, maybe it would be a nice surprise with how many would donate.

A hard copy...photo book/yearbook ....of the best new strains...methods...pics...growers...etc. etc....

I'd be interested in knowing how much it costs to run a site like this,and how much is coming in from seedsales and advertising before being willing to donate.Nobody here really believes this is about seed donation do you lol?

Ah the conspiracy theory lol,we never see enough of that here haha!Seriously I'm just saying what several hundred people I'm sure have wondered but won't say.Since 2001 I know I've sent gypsy 2-3 grand conservatively for seed,and I'm one among thousands for sure.It seems likely as membership grows,so would advertizing and sales.

Well, I've supported the site since day one. Paid my $80 subscription to the paper magazine and I'm still waiting on my last issue. When ever you do come out with the last one. Not complain at all. Loved both issues and I'm sure the third one will ROCK! When it does come out.
I would be willing to pay for a special members service here and a subscription. As long as I got some type of different service. Like a private section that the public couldn't post in. As for me, it's doesn't both me one bit. This has been my home since day one and I'd be willing to pay a yearly fee.
As for seeds, I've already stated in other threads that I would be sending in some freebies, so those should help out in a good way. Auction them off and make some cash for the site. I'll be placing some ad's in the major cannabis magazines and driving business over to seedbay, so that should help out. Also will be buying a banner here, so that should help.
I think if everyone chipped in a little bit. I think we could reach a goal and keep the site on track. These are just my thoughts and idea's. I don't have a issue supporting the site. Love it here and would hate to see us going backwards.

PS: Gypsy if your reading this. I think someone that is spending $1200-$1600 on a full page ad in High Times, Skunk, etc magazine should get some type of discount on a banner here. Since the banner is going to be link to seedbay any ways. I think $800 buck a month is a little high. For someone that is only driving more business to your site. Or buying banner's in lots of three months? How about a price break or something. Your getting money off the beads after they sell?? A little help here maybe? I'm willing to help support the site, but I've got bills also

Just FYI.........Those banners aren't "sold"..........Site makes no money off of em.......thus not much $$$ from advertising.
