LOOKING FOR DEEP CHUNK!!

D

DUBADAY

Ok I have been looking for a while. My time is running out to grow them outside
for the summer so I need some help on where to find DEEP CHUNK or GOOD PAKI.

Your best bet is to TRY and find DC as a "buy it now" on seedbay in the "weekend specials", but I'm not sure if you're going to have enough patience for that(can't remember if I've seen it there or not, but I picked up some DC crosses in there). If it goes to auction, you're looking at spending more money than anyone should ever pay for seeds. Pine Tar Kush(HTC) is a regular in the "weekend special" area, so you may want to check that one. Not sure about Pakis, but there's always Sensi's kush and those DC crosses(by Richard Williams, I think) may come around again. It was DCxTrainwreck(seed selection) and DCxTimewarp. I know you'd like a pure DC, but I'm really not sure how good your chances would be. You could always pm tom hill, I guess.

Breeders choice has plans to work on the return of deep chunk from a larger gene pool than was ever available before. Thanks to TomHill we'll have dc lines that had separated many years ago that will be recombined to return vigor and diversity to the line. Sooner to be released are some landrace afghan paki and kush indica lines that imo are even better than the deep chunk.

Also just a few corrections and side notes.

The pinetar kush is a tomhill line that was never made available by hill temple collective. I believe the current DC seeds being sold at seedbay are also from tomhill and not htc but htc has sold DC seeds in the past. I strongly recommend looking for the paki ibl line from htc. This is a stunningly beautiful line and hopefully beancounter/ogbub/htc will make it available in the near future.

The DC is very very susceptible to mold and I strongly recommend you to not grow it outdoors unless you grow in an area that is very dry during the budding season. The pinetar has less mold susceptibility but only about 10-20% of the plants grow into cabbage phenos like the dc or paki ibl.

Another recommendation I have is the blue moonshine and old time monshine from djshort and flodica. These make really beautiful pure indica pheno outdoor plants with tons of resin lots of purple and really complex flavors.

Thanks all, I will look into your suggestions. Zamalito, that is exaclty what I am searching
for. Some nice oldschool heavy stone ibl paki or afghan or even a good kush line. I want to grow out the summer and get a nice mother or two and a nice solid male, then cross witha vrey nice mexi/supersilver haze that wreaks of lemons and grapefruit, very heady.

Here are 3 cuts of "Parineeta" aka "mrs. m´s Chunk".I´m going to cross 10 cuttings (at least) with males of Lebanese La Bekaa 005 and others :D

Actually, KC Brains have some very very nice outdoor indicas, their Leda Uno and Bahia Blackhead are two of my outdoor faves, both have killer phenos, find that pheno and clone the hell out of it. KC's Afghani Special is also a great performer outdoors, classic Afghan xmas trees and good yield, I had some of mine hit 5 feet back in the late 90s in a greenhouse.
