go to youtube look up subcools super soil mix ,and add some bath salts to it and emzymes ,on lights i would go 600 watters hang vertically no hoods i would shoot for three of them ,go to craigslist to look for used equiptment ,i sugest gage green seeds also they are very sold no hermi issuses i know off ,and make shure to flush the soil mix with a hose untill it runs clear ,you can catch the run off and water with it as a deluted mix, good luck ,its a easy way to start and have a good grow

I think a better place to start would be with a question, what are your goals? Is this a personal situation, or a production situation? Are you wanting to run multiple strains, or just one? What does the room already have in place (electricity, ventilation, water)?

The reason I ask is a lot of the advice we can give is going to be much more specific and useful if we know what you're wanting to have happen. "I want to grow and have 6x6x8 available" isn't much to go off of.

Gotta agree w/ anon0988. What do you want to grow? For years I grew in a walk in closet, both fluorescent and MH/HPS, probably close to the size you mentioned. Already had a electrical outlet. Used a fan to blow fresh air in, lights on a surge strip/timer. I could squeeze in 6 plants (photos) in soil. Had there been autos at that time, I could have done a hoard of em in half the time.

There are numerous places to find quality seed. Seedbay is awesome with so many genetics/strains....commercial strains and thousands of others out there....like a big candy warehouse! ;o)

Tell us more where/why, etc.
